Levantine offers tasty, healthy, and filling food with a cozy, relaxed vibe. The salmon quality and taste was in another stratosphere, and the chicken kebab was marinated to perfection and juicy. The lamb kebab pita sandwich features well seasoned lamb and grilled vegetables served hot with rich tahini sauce. The classico hummus is easily the best hummus in New York City, and the falafel is well seasoned—not dry. The salad was the icing on the cake. The atmosphere is great, with a cute vibe inside, warm back room, and good music not too loud. Staff are polite and helpful; service is lovely, even when packed out. The owner touched base, and service tends to guests without being overbearing. An appetizer each, an entree each, and two cocktails per person with top shelf liquor came to around $135 with tip. A sign outside boasts a great happy hour with food. Highly recommended, guests will return repeatedly.
