“Unique blend of Mediterranean and Mexican cuisine; the dips were all great and the watermelon salad was very refreshing. Chicken Shawarma Burrito was filling and had all the spices you want but could have used a bit of salsa to add moisture“

“Came here for dinner with friends, and it did not disappoint. The Caesar salad is easily one of the best I’ve had in NYC; it was fresh, crisp, and flavorful. The hummus and pita were solid, though not particularly remarkable. The rice was slightly dry, but still very tasty overall.“

“This food exceeds all expectations for a hole in the wall. They have some interesting things on the menu, but they really nail the basics. The rice, bread and meat are perfectly cooked, seasoned and oiled. If this food was served at a fancy place on the waterfront, they could easily charge 5x.“

“I’ve been going to the Tripoli since I was a child (1975, so I was 2 years old). At first, the draw was their authentic pastries (their Birds Nests are TOP NOTCH!!!). To this day, I love their traditional Lebanese cuisine (their humus, babaghanouj and tabouli are AMAZING as is their shish-kabob and chicken shishtaouk). If ever you find yourself on the border between Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill Brooklyn (NYC), I can’t recommend them enough!!!“

“Want to make your pallet dance? Of course you do! Boutros is the place to go from their tantalizing cocktails to their original baba ghanoush and falafel you’ll be simply amazed. Old school, traditional recipes with a twist of new flare. Mikey is a wizard for creating his cocktails. I had the pleasure of trying two of them that he created after thinking about them for 12 years and I highly recommend them the Garlic Gibson and the Bitter tree, both are amazing. Allen, who is the chef and owner and named this quaint little place after his dad will delight you with his specialties my Sister and I had the mushroom hummus. The short rib wraps are beautiful salad and baba ghanoush to name a few. Hurry up, you won’t be disappointed!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Finally checked out Fatima's Grill and wow, the fusion concept is super creative! Everything is halal and the portions are massive — we got the shawarma crunch wrap (basically a loaded Crunchwrap Supreme with tender chicken shawarma, fries, and sauces) and a Hot Cheetos asada burrito. The crunch wrap was fun and crunchy, with good spice, and the burrito had that bold, cheesy kick from the Cheetos dust — definitely unique and Instagram-worthy. Also tried the chicken over rice platter; the rice was flavorful and the chicken juicy, though I wish the overall seasoning was a bit stronger/more consistent across the dishes.“
“The quality of the meat from the butcher in the back is outstanding—everything tastes incredibly fresh and flavorful. I especially love their sujok, the spicy beef sausage. It’s perfectly seasoned with just the right kick, and you can usually find it in the freezer section, available in different levels of spiciness.
After the recent construction, the place looks fantastic. The new layout is clean, modern, and well-organized. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into enhancing both the food offerings and the overall atmosphere.
Don’t miss their manaeesh—they’re absolutely delicious. Whether you choose za’atar, cheese, or a mix, each one is baked fresh and bursting with flavor.“

“Very interesting take on a fast food/shawarma spot. I’d actually say the prices are reasonable even cheap considering how expensive food has gotten lately. Some people might think it’s pricey for the size, but in today’s market it’s still relatively affordable. That said, you’ll probably need two shawarmas if you’re looking to feel fully satisfied.
The menu is simple, which I appreciate. The shawarma isn’t traditional, but it works in its own way it feels more like a modern spin rather than an authentic, classic shawarma experience. If you go in expecting traditional style, you might be surprised, but if you judge it on its own, it’s solid and flavorful.
The place itself is very clean, which always matters. I’ll also give them bonus points for the packaging and branding everything feels polished and well thought out.“

“First time at a NAYA! Very similar to a Cava / Mezze with bowl + wraps. Stopped by on an early Sat afternoon and there was ample seating. I decided to get a Chicken Shawarma bowl bc it seemed basic enough. However, I did ask the server what protein they preferred and they said the Lamb, so they generously added a piece of Lamb at no extra cost! l also trusted the server choose the toppings and sauces to add + it didn't disappoint! I got the side of pita to round out my first time.
Overall, the bowl was great! I Will say, similar to other fast casual bowl spots, after 1/2 way through, all your bites start to taste the same. Not in a bad way, it's just the nature of everything getting mixed together. Service was a bit slow bc there were mobile orders coming in, but shoutout to the friendly staff overall! I wish there were outlets for me to charge my phone lol Decent location in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn with a huge plaza right outside to enjoy the nice weather.“

“Great middle eastern spot! The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The shawarma was perfectly seasoned, tender, and juicy easily some of the best I've had. The garlic sauce is a must-try, and the portions were generous for the price. Staff was very friendly and had quick service! Always nice to find a spot with actual good authentic food.“

“Love this place. I’ve been 4 times and holds the crown of best Lebanese food in the city. On top of the amazing food, it’s cozy in the winter and the backyard patio in the summer is unbeatable. You can tell the owner Samaya works hard to make the place filled with amazing food and love, everyone is so sweet and welcoming.“
