“The food here is so good! The staff is very nice, you can order inside or use their digital kiosks outside. There is only outdoor seating but it’s perfect for the summer. The hummus is some of the best I have ever had, and the mint lemonade was delicious! They have vegetarian options and bowls you can alter to be gluten free. Come here!“

“Fantastic experience at El Cedro! The food was absolutely delicious; we loved the chicken hummus platter and the baked feta cueso. To top it off, the hibiscus tea was incredibly refreshing. Our server was wonderful, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere with beautiful paintings. Highly recommend!“

“Want to make your pallet dance? Of course you do! Boutros is the place to go from their tantalizing cocktails to their original baba ghanoush and falafel you’ll be simply amazed. Old school, traditional recipes with a twist of new flare. Mikey is a wizard for creating his cocktails. I had the pleasure of trying two of them that he created after thinking about them for 12 years and I highly recommend them the Garlic Gibson and the Bitter tree, both are amazing. Allen, who is the chef and owner and named this quaint little place after his dad will delight you with his specialties my Sister and I had the mushroom hummus. The short rib wraps are beautiful salad and baba ghanoush to name a few. Hurry up, you won’t be disappointed!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Lebanese food served in small plates. Really enjoyed the options they had. The labne plate and pita bread is so fresh and delicious. The batata was crispy and excellent. The rice dish flavor was good it’s just we had some very hard pieces of rice mixed in- not sure if it was because of being reheated too much or being a little stale.“

“I’ve been going to the Tripoli since I was a child (1975, so I was 2 years old). At first, the draw was their authentic pastries (their Birds Nests are TOP NOTCH!!!). To this day, I love their traditional Lebanese cuisine (their humus, babaghanouj and tabouli are AMAZING as is their shish-kabob and chicken shishtaouk). If ever you find yourself on the border between Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill Brooklyn (NYC), I can’t recommend them enough!!!“

“Amazing place to be at if you’re on a budget! Delicious scrumptious food. The food is loaded. My family was very full and satiated. The food can be customized with spice level and add on veges. Over all 100/100!!! Will be coming back soon!“

“Have you walked past this place and thought about trying it? The smells, the look, and the staff all seem to invite you in but you haven't made up your mind yet? Well this is your formal invitation to take that step. The food is delicious, the burgers flavorful, the lamb soft with a hint of common Halal food cart notes but with a twist that raises it to another level of culinary experience.
Remember when it used to be a fried chicken spot? The new place has not been lost in terms of service and comfort food. Trust me. There's still a lot of fried tasty foods for those nights when you want to stay in with a movie and appetizers.
They have platters for dinner nights or lunch dates.
The hummus and lentil soup are some of my favorite lighter things to order.
I buy olive oil from them for my house.
I'm making this review because a lot of people ask me about this place. They're mainly skeptical to go in because it's still a friend chicken spot in their hearts but they're always curious to know how good the food from their new menu.
Hands down, no bs, it's amazing.
Same owner. Different menu. Trust me, go in and order something 😁 try their drinks, they have some fun looking bottles that are sooooo good 👍“
“The quality of the meat from the butcher in the back is outstanding—everything tastes incredibly fresh and flavorful. I especially love their sujok, the spicy beef sausage. It’s perfectly seasoned with just the right kick, and you can usually find it in the freezer section, available in different levels of spiciness.
After the recent construction, the place looks fantastic. The new layout is clean, modern, and well-organized. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into enhancing both the food offerings and the overall atmosphere.
Don’t miss their manaeesh—they’re absolutely delicious. Whether you choose za’atar, cheese, or a mix, each one is baked fresh and bursting with flavor.“

“First time at NAYA, and it was pretty good. Space is clean and has a modest amount of seating. Lots of good ingredients here, everything tasted fresh. Only complaint is that the portions are definitely on the smaller side for a slop bowl. Not sure if that’s this location specifically or just NAYA compared to Cava.“

“As an original Arab who has lived in the middle east most of the life, I can 100% confirm this place has a legit shawarma. I walked in hungry with my friend thinking that it would be a mid restaurant just like most of the shawarma stores but I changed my mind from the first bite of the shawarma. I recommend it for a great taste and a reasonable price“

“Tons of interesting dishes and all were hits pretty much. The heirloom tomato had such a acidic punch that really elevated the dish. The whole fish with chinmichurri sauce is amazing. Their wine selection by the glass is also great. Baba gahnouj is delicious. The only thing I would skip is the brussel sprouts“
