“We were a group of 7 that included two elderly parents, a 7 year-old, and a newborn, to celebrate my mom's birthday. Both the hosts and our waiter went out of their way to help us and make this a special dinner for my mom and our family. Every dish we ordered was great, both the preparation and the taste, including the appetizers, entrees, and the dessert. Nothing was too heavy or overdone. Our waiter was very understanding and accommodated the various dietary preferences and restrictions at the table. She helped us with the surprise at the end for my mom. Overall, this was a very positive experience and I am grateful to our waiter for her patience throughout the night. 100% recommend.“

Our waiter, Samba, was the most kindest and wonderful server. He was patience, attentive and offered incredible suggestions when we needed. We took all his suggestions and loved each one! “I came here with a friend for restaurant week in early August. It’s been a little over a month since I’ve been here and I’m still dreaming of it! The food was amazing, and the service was top notch. I’d highly recommend the seafood orzo and the orange cake (I’ve been looking for recipes for these two dishes so I could recreate it at home). Try to get a seat outside because the view next to the water was amazing.

The pizza burger was quite delicious 😋 . It was a lot to hold to eat it so u would have to hold it separately to enjoy it.“

“The food is absolutely outstanding, highlights are the avgolemono soup (a favorite and this one is delicious!), the octopus and branzino. We also ordered fried calamari, chicken gyro and a few sides. Only suggestion would be to properly course the food. It all came out at once and we had to rush to eat everything before it got cold. Coursing starters and mains would have made this good meal an exceptional one. Thank you, will be back!“

“I call it a coffee shop but it's a lot more than that... It's also a deli with great food, delicious bakery items, and excellent coffee. And the manager and workers are helpful and friendly. They open at 9a and are in the lobby of a high rise office building. Definitely will return each time I'm working in Brooklyn...today was my fourth time! I will update with pics when I go tomorrow!“

The owner reached out personally almost right away, apologized, and made it right without any hassle. That kind of responsiveness says a lot about how they run things. The tacos were the best I've had in years, with fresh ingredients and delicious pico, & the fries were super crispy without any greasy taste. There were a ton of options, so this is a great diner for small groups with varying culinary preferences. It's also very cheap, especially considering the food quality (less than 10 dollars per person).“

“My favorite diner hands down. I moved to Staten Island a few years ago, but still cross the bridge when I want the best French toast. I visit at least once a week. Staff is friendly and very welcoming. I’m mostly there on Saturdays, and Catherine is always my server. Love her! I’ll be going back to work in that neighborhood soon (DOE), so I’ll definitely treat myself to lunch there as well😋.“
