“My first time trying Greek food! It was a warm welcoming by the owner Michael! He was very generous in service and the staff did an amazing job cooking my meals! The Let’s Go Burger was delicious (VIP early access on this menu item! 😏) . I then was served the family platter (aka welcome to the family platter) which was delicious! The steak, chicken and lamb were cooked perfectly, the pita bread was nice and crispy and the vegetables were fresh and delicious! Not to mention the sauces they provided on the side were a nice addition to the meal. The white wine was also very smooth and nice! (St. Elias Assyrtiko). “My daughter and I discovered this diner earlier in the year and go there often. The cook/chef is so good. We are very picky eaters so only order 3 or so things off the menu but they are always cooked to perfection. The prices are excellent“

“Fantastic breakfast, lunch, brunch, food, and a unique and quite camp restaurant. Definitely recommend this place and we will be back.
The food was fantastic and you could tell they used good quality ingredients. The Zorba platter was filling, fresh, and hit the spot. The blueberry baby cakes were amazing.
There was a funny picture frame in the bathroom titled Baby of the year with a Google review of someone who said the food was great, but the service was bad. Just found that funny; nothing else to say.“

“After a few days in Manhattan it was so refreshing to get a great meal without burning my child’s college funds. The taste of the chicken was delectable, fresh, juicy, cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The staff was very friendly, the service was super fast, the restaurant is very clean - all of which were part of this great experience overall. Now if I could figure out how to get them to deliver to Tampa…..“

“Server was very friendly, and the food was incredible! I had two veggie tacos with fries. The tacos were the best I've had in years, with fresh ingredients and delicious pico, & the fries were super crispy without any greasy taste. There were a ton of options, so this is a great diner for small groups with varying culinary preferences. It's also very cheap, especially considering the food quality (less than 10 dollars per person).“

“Mariana was a fantastic brilliant server! We had lovely conversation about Jesus and she gave me wonderful service! She is sweet and the food is perfection!!!!!!!!!! The Coleslaw is marvelous! What a wonderful first impression as i have never had it before!

“We love cafe 28 for breakfast as they have a huge choice. You can’t beat an everything bagel with sausage, bacon, eggs and cheese washed down with a large latte to get you set up for a days shopping on 6th. The omelette are great too. Highly recommend for a cheap but tasty start to your day“

“My favorite diner hands down. I moved to Staten Island a few years ago, but still cross the bridge when I want the best French toast. I visit at least once a week. Staff is friendly and very welcoming. I’m mostly there on Saturdays, and Catherine is always my server. Love her! I’ll be going back to work in that neighborhood soon (DOE), so I’ll definitely treat myself to lunch there as well😋.“

“To all my Willy-B's(Williamsburg Neighbors) and anyone passing through...This place right here is the only original undisputed spot close by that I can call a real Diner and it's right here in the borderline of Williamsburg and Greenpoint. We walked from Metropolitan Ave and Meeker looking for this place. When we stepped inside, my son and I were very impressed. It has a very friendly atmosphere. The menu & it's large portions of freshly made food along with the wonderful service by Nazi(our server) was absolutely amazing. Our gratitude to the Chef as well. So exciting with it all that we forgot to take pictures :-D It may be a little pricey, but it's worth every single bite :-p We will definitely be back ... Next time for breakfast :-) This place deserves a 5 plus review rating“

“Yo!!!! This place is so good. The host or maître D or whatever you wanna call him was like the most gracious person ever! Treated me and this hot girl that I’m currently seeing like we were family. Offered us some free Uzo drinks, which I’ve never had but now I’m throwing back like a bottle a week! Anyway, the food was off the hook. Please, please please don’t even get me started on the riblets!! I probably crushed like four orders spent my whole paycheck. Worth it!“
