Gus and Marty's Reviews
We were a group of 7 that included two elderly parents, a 7 year-old, and a newborn, to celebrate my mom's birthday. Both the hosts and our waiter went out of their way to help us and make this a special dinner for my mom and our family. Went with the family and it was so lovely. ”Best meal in a very long time” according to my father in law and I couldn’t agree more :)
Best Greek restaurant I’ve been to in New York. Great vibe and lovely staff.

Gus and Marty's is a delightful restaurant with a sophisticated and inviting atmosphere. The food is to die for, with standout dishes including moussaka, taramasalata, whipped feta, crispy anchovies, gigantes, octopus souvlaki, and gyros. The eggplant dip and lemon potatoes were favorites, and you can't go wrong with the lamb riblets, spinach pie, and octopus. The house-stretched pita with dips is worth the trip alone, and they are generous with it. The wines are enjoyable and the space is lively yet comfortable, making it an excellent choice for a neighborhood staple or group outing. The amazing staff provide great service, leaving a lasting impression and a desire to return. Everything feels thoughtful—great food, great space, great energy.
