“Their falafel mahshea might be my new favorite falafel in Queens. Stuffed with feta cheese and green olives. Served fresh and hot, perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They have another version stuffed with eggplant and harissa that I’ll have to go back and try. Really enjoyed the chicken shawarma bowl too. The toppings and sauces made this a great dish — artichokes, garlic eggplant, feta cheese, garlic sauce and harissa. They also have excellent lemonades. I had the peach ginger and my husband had the Moroccan mint. They have a lovely covered backyard to eat in. Great choice for lunch or dinner near the beach.“

“Tino's is great but they need to find a better way to stagger reservations so they don't make people wait an unreasonable amount of time (with a reservation), and so that diners don't feel rushed because they're taking up space and people who are waiting to die are on top of them. The fried calamari was better than Greece stated by my sister in law who was there in September, antipasto, appetizers, fish, chicken kabob on skewers were tremendous we couldn't get enough we were licking our fingers. “My absolute favorite Greek restaurant! They have several locations, but I like the one in Bayside the best because I find it's not as crowded as the other ones. The parking here can be a little tough but there is a municipal parking lot about 3 short blocks away and you can also take public transportation there, it is about a block away from the Bayside Long Island Railroad station. Try their steak its my favorite, but I also recommend the octopus, and their fish is always fresh and delicious, but you really can't go wrong with anything you get here. This place is always super clean, the service is always great and they pour a great drink. Now, this is an edited review from my original because i just had to mention Arif, who is the general manager. When you meet Arif you will understand why this place is so great. “Honestly super duper impressed with the quality of food & service we received. At work we will have a catered lunch maybe once a month and it is not easy to coordinate & get great food for an office of 50+ people. But they really got it right! Food came hot, on time, and they very generously provided serving utensils, plates & cutlery. I heard they even called to make sure everything was good which I think is the first of all the resturaunts we had catered. Food: we got the greek salad, rice, lemon potatoes, chicken souvlaki, gyro, falafel, tzatziki & falafel. Everything was super fresh & delish. -- salad had big chunks of feta & some grape leaves. I do wish the salad dressing had more acid(?) because the meal was a bit heavier but overall super fresh!! -- rice to me was a little soggy but some coworkers said they liked the rice and it was super fluffy for them so i think its more about personal prefernce. -- lemon potatoes has a great lemon flavor and was not overcooked. Lemon potatoes are one of my favorite things and this definitely made the list of some of the best. -- chicken came in big chonks and was a pretty moist; and considering i took one of the top pieces from the giant tray for 50 people and it was better than i expected. Only thing is that it felt a little bland? Bit it had great sear and was plentiful! -- gyro was not too salty which is a huge deciding factor me if a greek place is good! It was NOT undercooked in any way but i personally like the burnt bits so i took some leftovers home and airfried it and it was amaaazing. -- falafel was much bigger than i expected - like a golfball? Maybe bigger? Outside was crunchy and the inside still moist and was probs the best falafel i had in monthss. I personally prefer falafel thats not as coarse but again thats a personal prefernce and did not stop me from having a bunch. -- the tzatziki was thiccc like hard to scoop thick. It was honestly amazing! We got some extra lemons so i did thin mine out a bit and i think that helped add a lot of brightness to the meal. Overall- definitely think it will be made part of the rotation and I will definitely consider ordering on my own for lunch to try some of their other menu items“

“We had the pleasure of dining at Eleni's Saturday night and it was a wonderful evening. The hostess Sren started the evening on a high note because of her warmth and friendliness. Unfortunately, my reservation had been lost when I did it on Google, but she could not have been more accommodating. She gave us a table that we could spend two hours at without being rushed. The grilled calamari, octopus, and appetizer of dips were all exceptional, as was the waitress we had. Friendly and attentive and helpful staff. Couldn't decide between the sesame coated feta or the halloumi fries so we got both and they were amazing. We went with the smaller order of feta cubes (3 pieces) instead of the large (5 pieces) and it came with pita bread that we happily dipped in the honey from the feta. We also shared the fish special of the day - beer battered cod with beetroot and garlic potatoes (skordalia?). We also has the happy hour special white wine (half price!). We decided to share the Lamb Shank ($30), Octopadi Stifado ($29), and 2x Chicken Skewers ($5.75 ea). Both the skewers and the Octopadi Stifado came served with pita. The lamb shank, described in the menu as "slow cooked lamb shank with orzo in tomato sauce", arrived just shy of fall-off-the-bone tender, bathed in a savory tomato sauce that soaked into the orzo. I used the pita to full effect in order to soak up every last drop of sauce. The Octopadi Stifado, an octopus stew w/caramelized onions in tomato sauce, had an even more savory tomato sauce, mixed with olive oil that carried the octopus flavor everywhere. Once again, the pita proved useful. The chicken skewers, with decent juice and char, proved irresistible. The pita arrived warm and fluffy. None of that dense brick nonsense that seems ubiquitous. Service proved fast. Dinner from seating to the check took 45 minutes.“
