Second, the food was amazing and loved every bits of it.The appetizers we tried were the tuna tartare, chicken gyro bao buns and saganaki fondue. All were amazing! My main course was the salmon and I can’t describe how good it was because my vocabulary is limited. But anyway, once again the service was amazing. “By now of course this place is a NYC Institution like Da Umberto, Raouls and Il Mulino. They run a good program, and the service is always attentive. The drinks come quickly, and notably the mezze are the star, along with the fresh fish. The whole bronzino is excellent. You can also almost aways get a table short notice, so that's nice too. Go with a smile on your face, and you are liable to leave with a bigger one.“
“I was eying this place ever since moving into the neighborhood and I finally visited when family came into town. The place held up to my expectations I can see why it is always busy. The staff is friendly, we did not wait for a table, and everything was served in good time. The Branzini special I had was served with an incredible tomato based sauce that was unlike any I've tasted and out of this world delicious. Be sure to try the zucchini fritters that are fresh, succulent, and served with astounding tzatziki.Add to this, the most down to earth, friendly, and welcoming staff in a neat, clean, and quiet mom and pop environment, and you've got a place that keeps me coming back. It's just a 5 minute walk off of Ditmars and Steinway, on a quiet residential neighborhood and worth the trip.
