Stamatis serves authentic Greek cuisine with exceptional dishes like the Red Snapper and Pork souvlaki, cooked to perfection. The restaurant is known for its wonderful roasted lamb on rib bones in a lemonaise sauce, served with roasted potatoes, and lamb is also available in a tomato sauce. The Galaktoboureko dessert is a must-try and makes for a sweet ending to any meal.
The atmosphere is cozy, reminiscent of a family home, with a seaside charm that adds to the experience. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, creating a warm environment for diners. While parking can be challenging, the fresh and delicious food, along with generous portions and great service, make it worth the visit. The grilled octopus is done just right—soft and juicy—and the roasted eggplant with feta is quite good. The portions for the antipasto are delicious yet satisfying, and the lima beans appetizer is surprisingly flavorful.
Prices are on the higher end, but the overall experience is well worth it. The service is prompt and courteous, with no waiting time. Stamatis is highly recommended for anyone who enjoys freshly made delicious food and a taste of modern, authentic Greece. Clean bathrooms and seating options, including al fresco dining, enhance the experience, making it a great choice for families and groups alike.
