According to my friend who lives here, Greek is the way to go when you're in astoria. So we ordered some gyros and other delicious bites from Frankys and I was not disappointed. I got the beef suvlaki plate and omg the meat was so flavorful and freshly grilled you could still taste the smoke from the fire. The white sauce was great and veggies were fresh. I'd definitely make this spot a regular stop if I lived here
Best souvlaki sticks east side of the Mississippi River. Frankie does a great job ensuring that everyone is promptly taken care of in an efficient fashion. Him and his workers are extremely polite. Food is ALWAYS fresh and very reasonably priced. My family and I have been coming here since the early 90s when his dad was running it out of a cart. There's a reason they've expanded their business the way they have! Highly, highly recommend for anyone and for any occasion!

Franky’s is hands down the best souvlaki in Astoria, been going to him for years, even when he had the cart, glad to see he did well enough for the truck. The bummer is I moved to PA and have been going through withdrawals ever since!
