You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! “I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!!! Their food tasted SO good and tasted like it was homemade food. It was made with so much love, and the food was so flavorful and seasoned. Every thing I got, hit. I got the curry chicken platter, and I cleaned my plate. The mint lemonade tasted so fresh and refreshing. The baklava was really good, as well. The customer service was excellent and so homey, as well!“

“My friend and I went to Miss Ada at 11am on a Saturday. My friend had been previously and requested a table in the back that has the outdoor feel without being pummeled by the cold. If you don't have a reservation, I recommend going close to 11am, as there was already a line at opening. The atmosphere has cute vibes, but nothing outstanding.

We ordered the Lamb Shawarma Hummus ($18) and the Israeli Breakfast ($15). These came with a side of warm pita, which was warm and fluffy, though I would argue it was not enough for both of the dishes. The lamb shawarma hummus was fantastic, and I would highly recommend it. The lamb flavor completely elevated the hummus, and the combination of flavors was a knockout. I would pass on the Israeli breakfast as $15 was totally not worth it for a few greens, eggs, and dips that paled in comparison for the hummus. While the food was tasty, they advertise these as family style. I personally felt like it wasn't enough food to share, and if I'm paying $21 for my entire meal, I would prefer to leave feeling satisfied.

Regarding service, they provide a bottle of water that you can fill your cups with, and they replaced ours when it was low. The food also came out incredibly fast (less than 5 minutes?). Our server did one check-back but we were quickly in-and-out, so I cannot speak to a highly attentive level of service. Overall, I would return to try a different hummus and a more filling brunch entree.“

“My partner and I love Dar525. The atmosphere is unique, eclectic and at the same time comfortable. In our experience, it is never that busy but you have to know that we have only been there a couple of times.

In any case, due to its atmosphere and space, it is a good place for any group or date. It can be a friendly place for a group of friends, and it can also be a sexy restaurant for a first date.

We really like the food, especially the main dishes, which come with plenty of food and pita bread. However, for me the hummus lacks a little flavor.

“We had a really terrific meal. Stuffed cabbage was very tender and flavorful, as was the kebab. We enjoyed dolma and zucchini pancakes. There were many gluten free choices - most of the menu in fact. Everything was delicious. The service was very attentive, polite and helpful. I'm looking forward to returning!

“This restaurant has the most delicious fresh food. We had the grilled octopus, Branzino with salad - and zucchini tarator. The octopus was like butter, branzino moist and full of flavor and the Tarator was a delicious cool yogurt, garlic and shredded zucchini dip. The service was so attentive and friendly. “A great new restaurant! I've been to a few of the Nai restaurants and was so happy I was able to try this new one.

Ambiance: Such a beautiful vibe. It's intimately lit which makes it a great spot for date night. It's also got a great bar with this gorgeous decor over it. The environment really makes you want to sit and grab a drink before dinner.

Food: The food is small plate style. I like this concept because it gives me a chance to try more of the menu. We got most of the veggie "to share" plates and 2 of the pasta dishes. Every single item did not disappoint. Each dish was well seasoned and balanced. Some of the combinations sounded different but they worked really well together.

Service: Service was pretty perfect. Everyone checked in the right amount and even gave us great recommendations on what we should order.

Price: It's the typical prices of NYC restaurant but the food and ambiance make it totally worth it.

“Each time I eat here I'm at a loss for words, but I'll try: My office is nearby and my coworkers and I have a tier list for 35+ local restaurants of all varieties. This one is at spot number 1. Their falafel is peerless, impeccable and downright divine. The chicken shawarma bursts with flavor within you and has a beautiful contrasting crust. The fries are gorgeous and extremely flavorful. The hummus is perfect.“
