“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

The food was beyond delectable—every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully prepared. And honestly, the food deserves to be mentioned twice because it was just that good.

The service struck the perfect balance between warm, welcoming hospitality and true professionalism. The atmosphere is the ideal blend of chic and rustic, creating a cozy yet elevated dining experience.

We had a small mix-up with our reservation, but the manager handled it graciously and quickly got everything sorted out, which made an already great experience even better.

Part of me wants to keep this gem a secret, but it’s too good not to share. Then again, I don’t think they’re hurting for customers—they were completely packed on a Monday evening, and after dining here, I can see exactly why.“

“We are used to eat Turkish food and I can say this place has very good chef. The waiters are very kind and knowledgeable, and the ambience is also elegant and classy. It looks like an expensive place but it isn’t. I’ll be back. We shared several small plates and the desserts, therefore it was even cheaper.“

Not only was the food fantastic (we had steak frites), the service was impeccable. Sammy was an incredible host that made our night even more enjoyable!! He was welcoming, fun, and generous. As my partner and I were celebrating, he made us feel so special and taken care of by providing us with mint tea & tiramisu that was to DIE FOR. “Visited for a friend's birthday. Large party of about 16 people. We did the price fix menu for efficiency. The food was great! The servers were a little cold at times when we asked questions about the courses but I will assume it was just because it was such a large group.

“I absolutely love this place! Everything is so nice, the prices are really good, and the food is always fresh and consistent. My favorite dish is definitely the meat burek—it’s always fresh and delicious. Their desserts are also great, especially the tres leches!

The staff is super, super nice. They’re always friendly, smiling, and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. They also stay open pretty late, which is a huge plus.

Overall, they really deliver on what they promise every time. Great food, great prices, great service, and a really welcoming atmosphere. Definitely one of my favorite Bosnian spots in the city.“

“We had an amazing experience at Dar525. We started with the mezze platter, which was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. We also ordered the pistachio pizza, and it quickly became a favorite.

“We originally wanted to dine at Salma, but since it was full, the team kindly walked us over to their sister restaurant, Fattoush, and we’re so glad they did.
The restaurant has a lovely, homely atmosphere that immediately makes you feel comfortable. The shrimp appetizer was absolutely top-class, perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and easily the highlight of the meal. The muhammara was also delicious with just the right amount of kick. The only dish that didn’t quite stand out for us was the chicken shawarma.
A huge shout-out to the wonderful woman serving the entire restaurant by herself. She was incredibly efficient, attentive, and kept everything running seamlessly despite managing it all alone. Her warmth and hard work made the experience even more enjoyable.
