“What an incredible dining experience at The Silent Sea in City Island, Bronx! From the location to the atmosphere and, of course, the food, everything was outstanding!

The restaurant is perfectly situated right at the entrance to City Island, and having parking available in the back is a huge plus, especially in this area. The atmosphere alone deserves an 11 out of 10!

We started with several appetizers, and every single one was delicious. The Greek fries were hands down the best fries I’ve ever had! The tuna tartare was incredibly fresh, the fried calamari was cooked to perfection, and the fried sardines were absolutely delicious.

For dinner, we ordered the lobster and the baked branzino. Both dishes were exceptional, not only in flavor but also in presentation. You can tell that attention is given to every detail.

Overall, a fantastic experience from beginning to end. Great atmosphere, amazing food, and a beautiful setting. I highly recommend visiting The Silent Sea! Definitely a place worth coming back to!“

“Taste Choice Shawarma is one of those places that just does it right. The rice platters are the best thing to order—flavorful, filling, and consistently on point. If you’re not getting a platter, at least grab the kebab platter or get the kebabs on the side because they’re a must-have.

“I have my Coffee there every morning. They know how I like it. With heavy Cream. Apparently no one else drinks it this way. I believe they buy the creamer just for me. For my coffee. If I'm a few cents short they always say it's okay. Tomorrow tomorrow !!!! These are good people. Very kind & helpful... I would recommend them to anyone... Good place !!!!!
