“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The place was very clean, cozy, and welcoming. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We especially loved the shrimp in creamy sauce and the baked octopus — both were outstanding! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.
The waitstaff was absolutely amazing and provided exceptional service throughout our visit. Thank you to the entire team for making our experience so enjoyable and memorable. We truly appreciate it and will definitely be coming back! Highly recommended! ❤“

“Pulled up for a bday night & my experience was great! Ordered the branzino & that came with a side of veggies , which was all well seasoned & tasty! The hookah was great as well. All in all, the vibes in here are calm, laid-back yet classy and luxurious.
I def recommend if you want to pop out for an occasion & a great time 🙌🏽☺.“

“We LOVE this place. My partner and I were visiting NYC for our Babymoon and had heard Florentin was delicious, but we were blown away. Not only was the food fantastic (we had steak frites), the service was impeccable. Sammy was an incredible host that made our night even more enjoyable!! He was welcoming, fun, and generous. As my partner and I were celebrating, he made us feel so special and taken care of by providing us with mint tea & tiramisu that was to DIE FOR. Literally, I would give anything for more of that tiramisu! Thank you so much to the staff at Florentin, and a very big thank you to Sammy for a wonderful experience! We can’t wait to return“

“I tried their salta, which is a sort of vegetable stew. It was excellent, served the right way in the traditional bowl with the right kind of bread. It isn't meant to be a fine dining experience, more like the ones you find all over Yemen. I'll go back and try some of their other yemeni dishes...and you should, too!“

“A lovely small place in west village.
The octopus from the appetizers was quite a good portion and was cooked perfectly.
The beet salad was a no for me. I felt like it was cut too small and a bit overdressed, so I couldn’t really taste it.
They also have a good wine selection, so I may come again for that octopus and another glass.“

“Great food, all tasted fresh and didn't disappoint..we ordered the dinner for 2 that included 4 choices of cold starters and calamari that melts in your mouth and the salad was so good and the mix kebab and koftas over rice was good too..will definitely recommend and we shall be back! 😋“

“The pita chips were really good easily the best bit would go back just for those. The rice bowl was just ok though. I got half grilled chicken half falafel and the spicy jalapeno sauce with a bunch of veggies. Everything was just a bit bland no spice what so ever“

The food was exceptional (especially the green beans, the mezze platter, the pasta al limone and the ribeye steak...) The service was amazing too, and our server Noya was great. Malka is a new favorite!“

“We lived many years in Turkey and this is more than decent Turkish cuisine. Look especially for the menu items that are also listed with Turkish names. Portions are generous... we ordered three mezzos, and split a Chicken shish... with the warm pita bread that arrived it was perfect. Great for a pre-theatre dinner.“

“After a cold and windy morning, not being able to get into one of the morning shows, we ran across this little restaurant by accident for brunch. They quickly welcomed us in with open arms and fresh hot coffee. It was one of the best brunches I've ever had, but what made it even more special was Joey the owner overheard our story, knowing we had a rough morning, and gifting us one of his comfort food cookbooks! The day couldn't have been any better. I can't wait to try one of his delicious Italian recipes this holiday season. I highly recommend the Little Owl. I certainly will be going back in the future!“
