“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“We went to Rumi for a birthday lunch the food, smoothies and desserts were delicious. Our kids who typically eat butter pasta loved everything that was served. We also didn’t mind that they tasted all the desserts since they were just right and not extra sugary! Beyond the yummy food, the family friendly atmosphere put everything over the top. Our son was walking table to table and one of the owners came and picked my son up and walked around with him so we could enjoy our coffee ! “I had the pleasure of having a late afternoon lunch at this lovely hidden oasis of tranquility. I ordered the mezza and wild fish. Both were great but the best thing was the kind bartender Mato.

I don’t drink alcohol, and was going to be fine with just water but Matowent out of his way and made one of the best mocktails I have ever had. Last but not least the classic 80-90 music made it all the more memorable.“

“Outstanding- a true gem! Quality and presentation of food and drinks was worthy of a Michelin star. Calamari was some of the best I've had, very light batter- not at all greasy and a very generous portion. We tried “select four mezza” sampler including: Hummus, Tzatziki, Spicy Ezeme, and Melitzanosalata. All were very flavorful and delicious. We selected two entrees: grilled octopus and salmon. Both were fantastic and beautifully plated. So much food, I couldn't finish my portion, which was a shame because we really wanted to try their famous Baklava. This is a small, intimate, charming restaurant. Great for a date night. Only 10 minute walk to our Broadway theater. Mixed drinks were amazing and beautiful. Waiter was friendly, attentive, and had great suggestions. It was our first time here. We will be back.“

My wife and I got a bowl and we both loved it. If you are looking for a counter style Mediterranean place to eat this is a fantastic choice! All the food is made fresh. My wife ordered pita chips and falafel on the side and both were made fresh when we ordered. The pita chips were thick and super crispy. The falafel was incredibly moist too. Highly recommend!“

The octopus was like butter, branzino moist and full of flavor and the Tarator was a delicious cool yogurt, garlic and shredded zucchini dip. The service was so attentive and friendly. “A great new restaurant! I've been to a few of the Nai restaurants and was so happy I was able to try this new one.

Ambiance: Such a beautiful vibe. It's intimately lit which makes it a great spot for date night. It's also got a great bar with this gorgeous decor over it. The environment really makes you want to sit and grab a drink before dinner.

Food: The food is small plate style. I like this concept because it gives me a chance to try more of the menu. We got most of the veggie "to share" plates and 2 of the pasta dishes. Every single item did not disappoint. Each dish was well seasoned and balanced. Some of the combinations sounded different but they worked really well together.

Service: Service was pretty perfect. Everyone checked in the right amount and even gave us great recommendations on what we should order.

Price: It's the typical prices of NYC restaurant but the food and ambiance make it totally worth it.

“It was my first time at Bustan. We were greeted warmly at the door and waited only a few minutes for our table as we did have a reservation and we were a little early. It is suggested to always book a reservation as they are deservedly busy. The ambiance was wonderful with a great upscale bar/night club vibe and warm orange colors, lighting, floral decorations and large beautiful glass printed photos on the walls of the enclosed porch.
