About Bartolo

Bartolo offers solid Spanish food in a welcoming space that feels slightly isolated from the street. The menu features various dishes, including a grilled iberico that some found plain and salty, lacking the expected complex flavors. However, the cheesecake with blue cheese was well-made, though the blue cheese's intensity might require a pairing with coffee or wine. The vibe is cool, with standout items like anchovy on a bed of butter, which surprised one guest. The Negroni was praised for its bold, smooth flavor, while the turbot was described as delicate and unforgettable, complemented by a citrusy beurre blanc. The croquettes, filled with rich jamón and served with garlic aioli, were deemed perfect. Overall, Bartolo is seen as a place where food truly matters.

Very cute little place… the food amazing, very very good… the drinks and alcohol a total rip off…$27 dollars for a glass of wine 🤷🏻‍♂

The best of the best!!! No where else in the city for Spanish fare other than the team behind Bartolo & Ernesto’s!! I love them more than words can say! Every dish is a must must must must 🙏✨

Having a hands on sommolier is a lost art and a rare find in the upscale casual scene, which Bartolo excels at. What an incredible wine list paired with unique and flavorful dishes. Their filet was outstanding and their tripe and blood sausage dish really stood out for their attention to detail. Rounding out the night with exceptional desserts and surprising dessert wines really make this spot a neighborhood gem.
