When I think about going out as a gay woman in New York City, I think let's go to Dickens! It has been so wonderful hanging out with the Dickens crowd. I will come back every week.
Walked in thinking it's an Irish bar, walked out having one of the best times ever at any bar. This is a gay bar on steroids but that's what makes it oh so better. I know what you straights are thinking, but this place is Uber welcoming of people from all walks of the road. Probably one of my most favorite random bars of all time. Drag brunch is really fun! The food is exactly what you expect it to be, probably even a little better.Bartenders during normal hours are generally attentive and the drinks are good.
