Went to The Dickens on a Friday evening for dinner and a viewing of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Overall the ambience and environment is great - nice decor, good lighting, busy without being super crowded, great views of many high quality TVs.The food is horrible. My dining companion and I sent back the Brussels sprouts because they were boiled and soggy with very little flavor - the ricotta slopped on top was also flavorless. Chicken tenders are also flavorless and fall apart in a strange way - I wouldn’t be surprised if these weren’t real chicken. Sliders we’re fine but bland and lukewarm. Sweet potato fries also lukewarm. Avoid the food.Espresso martinis were GREAT. However, we had to send back two vodka sodas because they tasted horribly like melted plastic.The server we had was very friendly, understanding, and accommodating.
