Fraunces Tavern Reviews
I ordered fish and chips, scotch egg, and lobster mac and cheese, and they were all successful! In particular, the scotch egg had a very unique taste. The space is large, but each has a slightly different atmosphere, making it fun to walk around and look around. The place I sat was uncomfortable because the table legs were odd, but I still intend to go again?
A historic restaurant dating back to 1719! George Washington dined here and you will see many historical references. There is also a museum about the war of independence. Most importantly, nice beers and food!

I stumbled upon this gem and I'm so glad I did. You can tell it's been around since the 1700s, and it was a very, very nice atmosphere. I had the hot apple cider with brandy and chicken pot pie, and both were delicious. Highly recommend and will be back.
