“This bar is absolutely amazing. I’ve been to all the bars in Secaucus and this one is hands down the best one. The bartenders are competent and very friendly. The service is especially great when Tiffany is working as the bartender on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The bar also has great music, wide variety of drinks and snacks, and a nice pool table in the back. The bar’s layout also makes it great for socializing with the bartenders and other patrons.“

“We came with a group of 6 for just axe throwing to celebrate our friend who recently graduated from Basic Training. Instead we did axe throwing, ninja stars, sword throwing, and archery. Loved our coach Joseph, he was an amazing help with teaching us the basic for each! Definitely would come again“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“What a fantastic find in Chelsea! We stopped in on a whim and ended up having one of the best dining experiences we've had in Manhattan. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was exceptional, and every dish that came to the table was packed with flavor.

We ordered several plates to share so we could try as much as possible, and honestly, every single item impressed us. The cocktails were just as memorable as the food and complemented everything perfectly.

The only downside? There were still dishes on the menu we wanted to try, but we simply ran out of room. This is the kind of place you'll want to come back to again and again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for amazing Spanish cuisine in NYC!“

“Absolutely loved this place! It's classic NYC vibes and fits so well. The food was outstanding and for as hard as reservation were to get it was not overly expensive on the food side! Drinks were up there but nothing surprising for the city.

Derek was such a pleasure to work with in the weeks before our big day and he and the entire staff took such great care of us and our family and friends post-race! They truly went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable, well-fed, and never without a drink! The location is also great, it was easy for everyone to get to and for everyone to go home from (so close to Grand Central and the 6 train!) One of the best pints of Guinness I've had outside of Ireland, such a cozy atmosphere and incredible staff members. Classic Irish pub food, which everybody loved! The classics are classics for a reason, and they were very well done. I’ve also had dinner here on a regular night, and it’s just as good! Great pub fare, generous portions, and a really relaxed, friendly vibe. It’s not just a perfect event spot, it’s a great place for an everyday meal too. I am so grateful to Wolfe Tone's for being a great, reasonably priced, delicious, comfy and cozy place to celebrate post-race. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to host any kind of event. “Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“Stumbled upon this Thai restaurant, and was very pleased with the food and experience. The Khao soi chicken was cooked very tender and fell off the bone. Pad Kra Pow pork dish was also really satisfying. The food was spicy, but the flavour worked well to make you want more. Highly recommended!“

“I stopped in yesterday with my girlfriends as a trio exactly at 5pm and we were able to get a booth. I loved the cute decor. 90s music and relaxed atmosphere. The shining star of the evening was the Happiest Meal deal…. Do not skip the burger! It is so delicious. We tasted a variety of aeperol spritz’s which were all tasty but my favorite was the classic. Our server Ike was super attentive and friendly, gave us helpful recommendations and playful banter, such a sweetheart. We will definitely be back for Happy Hour (and the burgers). “This is what we call “fine dining.” We did not reserve the main dining room, as one of our party did not care for prix fixe. We opted for the lounge as you can have from the menu or prix fixe. When you first arrive, you are greeted by a pleasant hat/coat check lady. We arrived early and said we would wait for the other couple and were invited to wait in the intimate cocktail area. The cocktails were superb and served with a house-made cocktail snack. When the guests of the party arrived, we were escorted to the lounge area. An intimate area with about six to eight tables. After being seated and greeted by the head server (maître d' or captain), who explained our options, we all opted for the menu. After looking at all the choices, we decided to split two appetizers. Even though the number of items on each choice was uneven, the server said, “Let me take care of it". And then beautifully presented plates arrived with equal portions. And it only got better from there. The entrées were each explained in detail, including their origins and how they were prepared. I could go on and on. The fish, beef, duck breast, and pork were everything we expected and more. We all commented, maybe the best we have had. The house made desserts were perfect. I had possibly the best cheese plate I have ever had. The entire staff of servers were professionals and enhanced the evening. The most disappointing part of the evening was when a guest entering the dining room (after removing his overcoat) came in dressed in Dockers and a short-sleeve polo. This is an insult to the owner, the chef, and the entire staff at this fine restaurant. But maybe he was an elite or a “special” person. We all said we would be back.“

“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“I was very impressed, moonlighting in the bartender night life for the last 20 years. I normally don’t go out to bars. My sister and myself were down at Lenox hospital for our Dads surgery. One of the desk staff at Franklin Hotel recommended Penrose! The staff, manager and bartender were so friendly. I have to say I was very happy. “The burger lived up to the hype, and the beer selection was excellent. The wait on a Saturday night was about 20 minutes, which is fine. The noise level is high, so not great for a quiet conversation, but perfect for a fun dinner with friends. Would definitely come back.“

“The hospitality is incredible. After living in nyc for 8+ years and eating out at a lot of Italian spots, this is one of my top restaurants now and a go to. The Dover is incredible and the short rib is magical. They have incredible wine by the glass options - super Tuscan was our pick. Ask for the dessert wine that is has apricot and peach tones. Highly recommend and they can accommodate for large private dining with some sectioned off parts of the restaurant!

“Came here with my best friend to catch up and we had a great time. The atmosphere is beautiful and the music is at the level to still be able to hold a conversation. My friend arrived before me and ordered us two margaritas and a beer to catch the happy hour prices. Then we tried the happy hour tacos. We had one of each, mushroom Al Pastor, Tinga and carnitas. I think the Al pastor isn’t bad just not my favorite vegetarian taco I’ve tried. Then the tinga surprised me - it’s actually very good and tastes very similar to what I grew up eating at home. My favorite was the carnitas taco. The tacos with the chile de árbol salsa or salsa macha is a great blend.
Then I ordered the carnitas gorditas and they were amazing - the Gordita was made made perfectly - I prefer a more crunchy Gordita than a fluffy one. My friend tried the sticky wings - they were cooked extra crispy like we asked for but the flavor wasn’t bad it was unexpected - there’s chamoy in their sauce, while they’re not bad wings they’re not great either.
The yuzu spritz truly stood out- very refreshing

Their menu features a lot of classics that are riffed on with aperitifs and vermouth’s - of which they have an amazing back bar display. I love seeing a bar that really goes deep on one style of drink and does it perfectly.
The drinks tend towards the lighter and session-able side, with a the on tap Americano Bianco being my favorite.
