My husband & I met there 46 1/2 years ago. Got engaged there the next New Year’s Eve & we’ve been married 45 years. We always visit when we come up to Jersey. I’m here alone this time but I’m going to stop in.
Was at the Meadowlands for work for a few weeks and as usual, was on the hunt for a normal bar. Charlie’s is the epitome of a neighborhood bar, filled with a cast of characters that immediately invite you in.
