“Out-of-Towners! We wanted to find a bar showing the NOLA Saints game. We went to one bar & NOPE! We randomly walked around and stumbled upon Turnmill Bar with hopes. No Saints game ? BUT sat at the bar to regroup & get drinks. This one has a nice atmosphere. We could tell this place was just getting amped up for “game-day”. Regulars / Friends started showing up with jerseys on. My boyfriend asked our sweet bartender if they could change the TV to our game. My boyfriend even said we could move to a table so they dont have to change the TVs at the bar. (We do understand the gaints game will be more important than ours) The manager was AMAZING & willing to change the tv in front of us at the bar so we dont have to move. With me managing a sports bar myself, I was impressed!
We ended up staying there through the whole game. Got more drinks and food. I highly recommend the Summer Grace, Espresso Martini and the Jessie’s Spring drinks. ALSO the wings! ❤️

“We’ve been coming here for years and the food has always been tasty and affordable, and the service has always been pretty friendly and fast. The menu has gotten smaller over the years and I think the portions got slightly slightly smaller, but it’s still enjoyable. I think their best food are their burgers, such as the brunch burger with bacon and eggs.“

“Went here while in town for the George Straight concert. The food was great, and the staff were awesome, especially Nichole our waitress. The owner himself was very friendly and helpful explaining how the shuttle works, which I highly recommend! Definitely recommend this place and will definitely be going back for our next concert down there.“

“I was having an event, at a location that was across the street from Goldie’s. Due to a communication error, we needed to change venues- literally 30 minutes before the start time. In stepped Goldie’s. The staff could not have been nicer, more accommodating, or more helpful.

What could have been a disaster was a wonderful evening. The service was great, the food was delicious, and the celebratory lemon drops were much appreciated.

I’m grateful to Goldie’s for the hospitality and highly recommend.“

“We picked this place because our wedding anniversary and Pioneers founding date is 12-12-12 after researching nightlife in Manhattan. So we picked the DoubleTree next door and stayed in the penthouse. The staff was very hospitable and were thrilled that we literally planned a weeklong trip to NYC all the way from Missouri centered around our mutual anniversary date! This was our second time to the city (my 4th) and our whole week was themed as "night life." Among the doors we stumbled into Superbowl week 2024 (CHIEFS!!!!!), Pioneers was one we found ourselves in more than once. It wasn't just its close proximity to our lodging, but how *good* it was overall. I'm a through-and-through Missourian and it's uncommon for us to be in packed bars with drinks being slung in record time, so seeing how little anyone had to wait for anything and how the staff just nodded at my amazed remarks as if to say "this is actually a slow night" really impressed me. Also how they actually tried to remember customers and carry on conversations right where they left off with anyone was equally impressive. This is definitely on that list of places we must return to every time we take another bite from the Big Apple and I hope both our marriage AND Pioneers years of operation are just as long, happy, rewarding, and fruitful as the other, at a minimum! Thank you, everyone!“
