“Walked to this restaurant/bar twice from my hotel while on business from the Midwest. I don’t speak Spanish, yet all the patrons and staff do! Everyone was super friendly, and I thoroughly enjoyed being immersed in music, people and food heavily influenced by the Caribbean & Central America. Prices were reasonable, food was great, but the friendly/happy vibe was the best part. I’ll be back…“
“By far, the best Pupusa I have had ever. Just moved back to North Jersey from down the shore after 15 or so years. I have missed the food, not the traffic. But, back on subject...these were amazing. The staff was nice and cordial. Easy pick up (in and out)! If you're in the area try this, you will not be disappointed! Promise. Oh, these are Pupusas Revuelta (cheese and chicharron) stuffed in all this goodness of a corn tortilla! I ask for extra coleslaw (forget what they call it) and extra sauce! It's heavenly!“

“the place thats near us is a bar and grill, and its inside of a really old ass cottage thats sunken into the ground. Like its literally sunk into the ground by a good five or six feet or so, the whole building. So you gotta go into the stairwell they built under the road to get in there. I think it's not actually Jimmy's corner, but people call it Jimmy's corner. Mhmmm, Mhmmm, it's half eaten.“
“My nonprofit organization had a sports trivia night in their private room on their second floor. It was perfect. Equipment for the DJ already there. A projector with a screen to display the scoreboard. Service was excellent. Food was great. Atmosphere was incredible. Drinks were fantastic. Highly recommend holding events in their private room. I will have more events there.“
“Food was amazing & came out fast. Yenifel offered a wonderful service. We went for brunch so the atmosphere was nice and calm! Plus we had a baby with us and still everything was accommodating, Music not too loud. I was looking forward to the pineapple rice dish but it was not available until 4pm but once 4pm came, Yenifel was ready to take my order . Yenifel we Love youuu! ?“
“Early March my and wife and I held a baby shower there. They were extremely accommodating with us and our guest. They also were very friendly and it worked out very well. We had families and most of the ladies at the tables and we had filled the bar with our drinkers and younger crowd.Music was good/ food was good / service was great! Anne was such a great manager worked hand in hand with our coordinator to make that day such a great experience.Overall 10/10 would highly recommend your next event there.“
“Immediately I knew this place was special. The ties to NYC and 9/11 run deep. I had a tuna melt which was open faced, and my husband had the Reuben. No pics because we ate everything before considering pictures. You will not be disappointed here. The service was great and the ambiance is special. If I'm ever in NYC again, I'll be back.“
“A new favorite local spot! I actually did a comedy show here last night and my boyfriend, my friends and I are already talking about how it's such a great place for comedy. Drinks are great, burgers really are the best in Hudson county, great onion rings too. And of course the owners / staff are super nice and create a welcoming atmosphere. We will be back!!!“
