“What a place. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere is one of a kind—eclectic, warm, and filled with treasures you can actually take home. But beyond the décor, Di Palma Brothers is something truly special.

I was here for a funeral reception, and I can’t imagine a better setting for such an occasion. On a cold, grey, and somber day, the ambiance provided a much-needed lift. It felt comfortable, welcoming, and infused with a certain lightness that made all the difference. And then there was the food—perhaps the best I’ve ever had at an event like this. As someone who is extremely picky about Italian cuisine, I was genuinely impressed. The pork chop Milanese was outstanding, the tiramisu and cannoli were perfection, and the fact that this level of quality was maintained for a catered party of 60 is even more remarkable.

Beyond the meal, the experience was enhanced by the unexpected delight of browsing through a collection of vintage fashion from legendary designers—Hermès, Chanel, Fendi, Versace, and more. It added a touch of joy and celebration that I know our departed friend would have appreciated. In fact, I can’t help but think she might have been looking down, wondering why we didn’t visit Di Palma Brothers sooner. She would have loved it.

We will be stopping by again for sure. I must say the Italian combo sub didn’t taste like typical ham, genoa & pepperoni, more like a bologna alternative but still tasty. Hero bread was fresh & soft. It got my attent but wasn't until a few months that I didn't actually go in and Covid did play a factor but man am I glad I did!!! Amy"s warm, genuine and warm greeting was a pleasant surprise. Then immediately you notice the open air lofty feel but with ever thing you expect in a classics traditional American bar. The perfectly sized newly constructed bar as you walk in on the right. Two midsize new pool table, the wall mounted monitor that can be seen from all angles, a perfect located dart board. But wait there is more. Amy who talked to us briefly about the new owners vision gave us the 5 cent tour ending it with the back yard. An oasis of a outdoor gathering area with tables, chairs and heater for those cool spring and summer nights entirely cover but a gazebo. Folks, Brass Rail 2 means business, they are built for you to come enjoy a beer watch baseball game on any of the monitors, play a game of pool, shoot some darts or just come and socialize with your friends or neighbors. Congratulations on building a nice local American Bar look I'm forward to spending time there unwinding after a good days work.”

It is your perfect mom and pops family oriented PIZZERIA and let me tell you it definitely brings me back to my childhood!!! With its delicious tomato sauce, it’s stretchy cheese and it’s just right dough.The service for many years has been very, very, very, very kind to its community as it does cater to the local schools and businesses. The owner has since changed… it is equally if not more so enjoyable now that I am a mom!!!It’s great to see when a change of ownership doesn’t mean it impacts what made this place our FAVORITE local pizza spot!P.s. my son would like to make sure that you are aware that he does have your traditional drinks/sodas I.e Sprite, Gingerale, orange soda, Gatorade, and water. It’s definitely going to raise eyebrows, but let me tell you, the place looks fabulous you walk into a standard gas station convenience store, turn right it’s a wrapped up beautiful fully running restaurant.

Food portions are MASSIVE! A platter with pernil, congris $15 , 2 people can eat from this- or at the very least you’ll have leftovers- unless you’re bougie . The Pollo Guisado was juicy and tender not rock chicken, penil was good. The beans are absolutely scrumptious. We legit got 3 platters, extra rice beans, extra maduro, guineo and a morir soñando (freshly made to order!) check didn’t go past $60 .

The chicken empanada was nice and crispy and the chicken was seasoned well. Lastly the most important thing for a coffee spot, the Espresso shot was strong and tasty.
