“What a place. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere is one of a kind—eclectic, warm, and filled with treasures you can actually take home. But beyond the décor, Di Palma Brothers is something truly special.

I was here for a funeral reception, and I can’t imagine a better setting for such an occasion. On a cold, grey, and somber day, the ambiance provided a much-needed lift. It felt comfortable, welcoming, and infused with a certain lightness that made all the difference. And then there was the food—perhaps the best I’ve ever had at an event like this. As someone who is extremely picky about Italian cuisine, I was genuinely impressed. The pork chop Milanese was outstanding, the tiramisu and cannoli were perfection, and the fact that this level of quality was maintained for a catered party of 60 is even more remarkable.

Beyond the meal, the experience was enhanced by the unexpected delight of browsing through a collection of vintage fashion from legendary designers—Hermès, Chanel, Fendi, Versace, and more. It added a touch of joy and celebration that I know our departed friend would have appreciated. In fact, I can’t help but think she might have been looking down, wondering why we didn’t visit Di Palma Brothers sooner. She would have loved it.

Chicken cutlet sandwich & Italian sub were good but the topper was the slice of strawberry cheesecake we got. It was the best cheesecake I’ve had in a very very long time. A++ cheesecake!! We will be stopping by again for sure. I must say the Italian combo sub didn’t taste like typical ham, genoa & pepperoni, more like a bologna alternative but still tasty. Hero bread was fresh & soft. Can’t wait to eat my tart & cookie when I get home. Highly Recommend if you’re in the neighborhood.”

“I was so excited to finally try Gilberto’s Cafeteria, especially because I came here to celebrate my 16th birthday! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was beautiful, warm, and welcoming, which made the whole experience feel even more special.

I ordered the Cuban sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and cooked perfectly. You could really taste the Cuban flavors, and it honestly exceeded my expectations. I recommend if this is your first time coming to defenitly try it.

What made the experience even better was the service. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our meal. It really felt like they cared about making our visit special. Being a small family owned business you can see the dedication they put into making their costumers happy which was so wholesome.

Overall, Gilberto’s Cafeteria was such a great choice for my birthday. Between the amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, and wonderful service, it made a special day even more memorable. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu!”

Then immediately you notice the open air lofty feel but with ever thing you expect in a classics traditional American bar. The perfectly sized newly constructed bar as you walk in on the right. Two midsize new pool table, the wall mounted monitor that can be seen from all angles, a perfect located dart board. But wait there is more. Amy who talked to us briefly about the new owners vision gave us the 5 cent tour ending it with the back yard. An oasis of a outdoor gathering area with tables, chairs and heater for those cool spring and summer nights entirely cover but a gazebo. Folks, Brass Rail 2 means business, they are built for you to come enjoy a beer watch baseball game on any of the monitors, play a game of pool, shoot some darts or just come and socialize with your friends or neighbors. Congratulations on building a nice local American Bar look I'm forward to spending time there unwinding after a good days work.”

It is your perfect mom and pops family oriented PIZZERIA and let me tell you it definitely brings me back to my childhood!!! With its delicious tomato sauce, it’s stretchy cheese and it’s just right dough.The service for many years has been very, very, very, very kind to its community as it does cater to the local schools and businesses. The owner has since changed… it is equally if not more so enjoyable now that I am a mom!!!It’s great to see when a change of ownership doesn’t mean it impacts what made this place our FAVORITE local pizza spot!P.s. my son would like to make sure that you are aware that he does have your traditional drinks/sodas I.e Sprite, Gingerale, orange soda, Gatorade, and water. It’s definitely going to raise eyebrows, but let me tell you, the place looks fabulous you walk into a standard gas station convenience store, turn right it’s a wrapped up beautiful fully running restaurant.

Food portions are MASSIVE! A platter with pernil, congris $15 , 2 people can eat from this- or at the very least you’ll have leftovers- unless you’re bougie . The Pollo Guisado was juicy and tender not rock chicken, penil was good. The beans are absolutely scrumptious. We legit got 3 platters, extra rice beans, extra maduro, guineo and a morir soñando (freshly made to order!) check didn’t go past $60 .

I spent a lil over $20 with tip and it was worth every penny. Sandwiches flavors were balanced and tasted great, bread was nice and soft but not too soft. The chicken empanada was nice and crispy and the chicken was seasoned well. Lastly the most important thing for a coffee spot, the Espresso shot was strong and tasty. Will def be coming back here with more people. I would’ve added photos but I thought to take the photos when I was already half way done my bad. Menu also had food options for pets!”
