Awesome establishment and ran by great locals and community supporters been going here since my grandmother took me when I was a whe lil boy!! Lol best quick Cuban sand in the hood and can’t beat the price. Also chicken soup slamming.. don’t listen to Cindy she just had a bad day.
Amazing cuban food right on Bergenline! Located only a few blocks from Hudson County Park and with its own parking lot in the back, it's much more accessible than other restaurants in the area. The ropa vieja, masitas, moro, and tostones are delicious. Their cuban sandwiches are always perfectly toasted bread and with cheese melted exactly into the pork and ham. Love love love!

Gilbertos has been around for a long time. So no need to say that the food is very good. The service also outstanding and the ambience. Well it's a cafeteria type place with a few tables and a full counter. They are Cuban sandwich is really good and so is the ropa vieja.
