22 Best Vegetarian Restaurants in Lyndhurst

“I hadn't been to this place in over 30 years since a school field trip. I was pleasantly surprised by the food service and atmosphere. Lots of fun and energy to be had before during and after the show. Foods okay and the drinks are a good size. Lots of fun if you're in a large Rowdy group.“

“Consistently excellent meals with a very attentive staff.“

“Had the best breakfast this morning along with my husband and we love this place so I’ll recommend to our family and friends“

“We love Colonial Diner and have been going there for years. They have the best food and best staff, along with an amazing atmosphere. My three year old asks to go there for practically every meal and we are always greeted like family when we walk through the door. This is the best diner I’ve ever been to. Run -don’t walk- and get ANYTHING from the menu; you won’t regret it!“

“Delicious food. Great birthday celebration.“

“Just flown in from Edinburgh and just had to visit this quaint fish and chip place . And wow so glad we did , the batter on the fish was done to perfection ( even better than home ) the scotch pies were top notch and the empire biscuits delicious. And the owners so friendly We will definitely be calling back in every chance we get to . 5*“

“Small place ran by a lovely couple with all the signature classic Romanian dishes! This place is a complete hidden gem! The eggplant salad starter is just like my grandmother and mother make, the meats are excellent - portion sizes are huge and everything tastes like a solid Romanian place on my visits to Romania. The star today was the Papanasi - a classic Romanian cheese donut! One of the best I had ever! Highly recommended! Will definitely come again!“

“I`ve tasted in a couple years ago, and I just can say that is the most delicious sandwich in NJ 😉👌“

“Was our first time. The gentleman ran out to help my boyfriend in a wheelchair to get in. The food was delicious. We definitely will be back and will tell some friends“

“Been going to Angelo's for over 55 years! One of my favorite places, great food and old friends. Moved from Nutley to the shore but still make it here, nowhere better!!“

“First time here, it was the best pizza I’ve had in DECADES! I ordered a custom Sicilian, it was delivered quickly and piping hot. The flavor and texture was unlike anything I’ve had for almost 30 years! Highly recommend!“

“We are visiting Lyndhurst this week from Canada and were looking for something close by for supper tonight. We are SO happy we picked Villa Italia! Everything is so fresh and delicious as Joe makes everything to order. Jen is an exceptional waitress, with top notch service and we enjoyed great conversation with her. Joe is super friendly and we couldn't be happier with our experience. We will definitely be back if in the area again! Thanks Villa Italia staff!“

“Very good pizza, Sicilian (Grandma pie) is excellent. Also not sugary and inconsistent like the other pizzerias in Lyndhurst.“

“Probably the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. Somehow, though, it actually adds to the charm of the place. The service was so bad that it became entertaining—we were literally laughing at how rude they were. 😂

The food is actually pretty good, and the atmosphere is cheesy as hell, but in a fun way. Overall, I recommend visiting at least once.“

“Thank you!! Thank you for bringing good pizza back to our area!!! Just tried tonight for the first time and you are our new place from now on! Delicious!!’“
