“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“This was a fantastic experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the staff was courteous, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a party of 3, and ordered 6 dishes. Each dish came out as it was made and each dish was absolutely delicious. A person in our party had a gluten allergy which was no problem and accommodated with ease. We come to NY every year and this will absolutely be a place we revisit again and again! Vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike will appreciate the dishes and be amazed with the taste! Highly recommended!“

“Went for an early dinner like 4:30 pm for a pizza, we were the only ones in there.
As expected service was super attentive and very friendly and kind.
I ordered the honey pepperoni pizza. I ate the whole thing minus a few crusts. The sauce was delicious.
The place was very beautiful inside and they had a very clean bathroom.

“I went there with my boyfriend and his father during a trip in NYC and we weren’t disappointed. My boyfriend had the kofta kobab which had a very meaty texture. His father had the wild mushroom kobab and I took the braised "beef". Everything was delicious, including the dessert (ekmek kataifi) which wasn’t too sweet, just perfect 😊“

“wow wow wowwww one of the best salads I’ve had ever ever. this place is exactly everything i could dream for in a cafe/restaurant/casual grab and go or stay for hours type spot. all the food options are made with super clean ingredients, all plant based, and made with whole foods. It’s all protein packed and packed with sooo many good nutrients + SOOO DELICIOUS!!! loved the quinoa taco salad and studied here for hours. “I took my son to Empire Steak House for his 15th birthday, and overall it was a great experience. The service was amazing, attentive, welcoming, and made the night feel special from start to finish. The sides, mashed potatoes and baked potato, were just okay and could've used more flavor, even with butter, salt, and pepper. But the steak... absolutely incredible. Easily one of the best steaks in the city. Definitely a spot I'd return to for the quality of the meat and top-tier service.“

By any regular metric, this is a 5/5. Unfortunately, this is New York. More unfortunately, they have a Michelin star. Thus, they must be judged within the strata in which they belong.
The ingredients were FRESH. This is their calling card. The carrots, the squash, the beets, the buckwheat. Kudos to their souring.
The meal is an imbalanced (to me and my table). We were craving protein, and this place highlights the produce. I will say the tastiest dish was a non meat course (mushrooms in a dashi broth)
Not top of my list, but massive respect to what they serve and what they represent.“

It seems that nearly everything is prepared to order, and as a result if coming here you should be prepared to possibly wait longer than most restaurants for your food to be ready.
I do wish there was a way for the restaurant to communicate this to avoid problems with new customers who may be expecting quicker service.“

“I live in basically the middle of nowhere. Most food I eat is relegated to home cooking or traveling several towns over if I ever want to eat out. I'm visiting the city for a weekend. Oh my god I didn't know we were at this level. Genuinely some of the greatest plant meat food I've ever had. “My husband and I went on Valentine's Day. For 30 years I have been hearing about it and never went thinking it wasn't my cup of tea. Well its not but I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Food was better than I expected but we were not there for the food. We were there for the spectacle and show. Medieval Times delivered. The horses, the jousting, the falcon , the pageantry was amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Service was warm, welcoming and efficient. Definitely recommend going at least once!“
