“We were in the area to see Cherry Blossom Festival in the local park. We originally planned to eat at our favorite restaurant Istanbul in Clifton NJ. We got hungry and looked for close by Turkish restaurants, found this place. Absolutely loved the ambiance, food and the service. We are hooked for life. Try the Calamari for appetizer, lamb shish kababs for main entry. Food was authentic and cooked to perfection. We will be back.“

“First-time buyer here! My husband visited the store for takeout, and we ordered the Turkey, Ham, and Cheese with LTM, salt, and pepper. Let me just say—wow! The sandwiches are packed with meat. At other sandwich shops, we usually buy a whole sandwich and split it into two meals each. Here, we’ll easily get four meals because of the generous size. We love a good deli sandwich every now and then, and until now, we hadn’t found one where the quality truly matches the price. We’ll definitely be back and will recommend this place to friends!“

Fries cooked perfectly, lamb/beef gyros good portion, falafels were awful. Fries & gyro both lacked FLAVOR/seasoning, falafel must be a basic frozen brand and I tossed them after eating only one. The price point is worth stopping in to decide for yourself because we all understand food is different for each individual. What I’m used to is more flavor forward but this worked for a quick bite before headed to the airport for my flight home.“

I had the drunken fried rice with chicken and shrimp and had a Thai ice tea. this was really good a bit spicy but it was delicious. there staff was also very helpful in helping us understand there menu so we could order. “We had a great dinner tonight at Happy Vegans. We were greeted warmly and offered a taste of their special dish kofta, which is a delicious mix of spices, tomato and bulgur. I had the happy vegan burger which was huge with three patties made from kofka, lettuce tomatoes and a large serving of fries. We were given mayonnaise and ketchup to dip the fries in. Baklava for dessert. I highly recommend this charming restaurant. Easy street parking.“

“My husband and I went on Valentine's Day. For 30 years I have been hearing about it and never went thinking it wasn't my cup of tea. Well its not but I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Food was better than I expected but we were not there for the food. We were there for the spectacle and show. Medieval Times delivered. The horses, the jousting, the falcon , the pageantry was amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Service was warm, welcoming and efficient. Definitely recommend going at least once!“

“Few places are as accommodating as the staff here. The menu, although on available digitally, is extensive. Large selection of GF (gluten free) items. You can start with apps, choose from pizza or pasta as an entree. It is BYOB and that can make for a fun evening. They will accommodate to suit taste, we had someone that was sensitive to sodium, they adjusted sted the entree to suit. The place is small, the food tasty and seriously, the service is over the top.“

“This place is excellent. I bought my friend from Japan with his family and was happy to take them to Cornbread for some authentic soul food. Needless to say my friend and his family loved the experience. They were finishing a road trip throughout the US and they thought the food at Cornbread was some of the best they had in their month long journery. The turkey wings were particularly good and I'm saying this as a person who is mostly vegetarian. Service was also excellent with attentive help and the servers were conversational and friendly with my friends and I. Bathrooms were also very clean. I wholeheartedly recommend Cornbread Montclair as a solid business and a great place for delicious Soul Food.“

“Got the $50 set menu, really good value. The 9 piece nigiri was really good. Miso black cod and coconut shrimp hand rolls also very good but logistically challenging. Korean chicken app was great, gyoza I didnt love. Place was clean and food was fast.“

The chef asked us for our requirements and explained that the place is not like traditional thai food and also graciously accepted our request to cook the poached egg fully. “Ate here with my family on a Saturday night. We took an uber to this location as we figured trying to find parking would not be good. The service and food was good. I couldn’t rate the food 5 stars as my steak was not the one I ordered and the meat was chewy. I didn’t rate the atmosphere 5 stars either as the place is quite small and not too much space to stand around while waiting for a table. If in the area, I do recommend stopping here for some authentic Cuban food.“

The experience was simply amazing. Every table was taken so we waited a few minutes and we were so glad that we did. We had been greeted by the owner and he quickly sat us when a table became available because I had expressed concerns about being on time for the performance. We each ordered a different meal and each of us raved about our selections all evening. I had the lamb burger and it was one of the best I have ever eaten: crispy with a lovely juicy interior. The each sauce was flavorful and the French Fries were the icing on the cake. We will be back and I would highly recommend THE YARD to everyone.“
