The branzino was was charred perfectly, retaining the perfect flakiness and moistness of the fish fillet. Cap it off with baklava and Turkish coffee. They won’t rush you here. “This is a great little Cafe. I walked in, place was clean, decor was awesome, staff were smiling and friendly. I got the vegan gyro bowl, and it was really good. It was packed with gyro and rice, i actually got lunch and dinner out of it. Sometimes plant based food in general has a weird taste, however, Pita Bowl's was great. This is my new spot for vegetarian eats.“

“Came on a Friday night and they were doing outdoor seating with great music! I had the medium chicken platter and my boyfriend had the chicken gyro combo. The food hit the spot and it was delicious!! We also bought their regular and chocolate baklava that is made fresh daily.“

“Sparta Taverna had always been great with their food and service! For this one time off, we made a huge office order and they forgot to submit my order therefore I had to make an individual order through grub hub. And because of the service fee and delivery fee I was charged at $30 for a salad. I've made a call to Sparta to let them know if they can throw in one small tzatziki sauce as a courtesy. They'd say "No" at first but when it arrived. Inside my lunch bag they gave me the sauce and a lollipop! So sweet! I wish for them to continue their business with great success!“

“This restaurant is amazing! We found the restaurant and seen they had great reviews through google. We hosted a family feast here, we had music, great food and great enviornment.The food is amazing, the atmosphere is great, the people are wonderful! Sandra is such a nice person, she waited on us at our family feast, she was so loving and caring and really made sure to cater to us and made us feel at home. “An opinion only. The food is good. But, they made it clear that they did not value me and my patronage. My sandwich was stuffed with french fries to justify their pricing. The cashier said she asked if I wanted it "Greek style" when she did not. (Not even sure what Greek style" is). And put the wrong sauce on my falafel. They did not like to be made aware of my service issue. They did not value me as a customer, shown by the way they spoke to me, so I will not be going back. That's a shame too. This was maybe my 3rd time ordering. No matter how good the food I can not spend money where I do not feel valued as a customer.“

“All of these old school Gyro shops are closing their doors. Proper Greek gyro on the pit, very fresh, delicious, quick and for a fair price. Worth the trip down from Mahwah now and again. The staff is very friendly and the place is small and very clean.“

“Food is delicious here, always fresh and in good quantity, however prices have continued to go up since I first started going there and also with ordering takeout/delivery. Sometimes just ordering a Greek salad and a gyro, when all is said and done it's nearing $50. I know prices are up everywhere, but some things don't warrant such a jump in price. And definitely shouldn't stay at that price for the long term. Hoping prices will come down as food prices begin to improve.“

“We had our baby's first birthday party / Korean dohljanchi at Mado and it could not have been more perfect. Aret and everyone at the restaurant were so wonderful to work with. They were happy to work with my requests and made party planning so easy. The space was the perfect size with ample parking for our guests. “I've had Laffa Shawarma and Laffa chicken.Tastes good, good portion and fairly priced.Very few selections of add-ons to your meal, the place itself is as basic as it gets, but clean.Will occasionally return since there are no other options for Israeli Shawarma in the area.“

“I tried EFI’s today from just passing by without looking at any reviews/ knowledge about the place i was PLEASANTLY surprised on the food! I got 2 lamb gyros and spanakopita to go. The lamb meat was GOOD but I got some nasty hard pieces. But, after getting rid of the pieces the gyros were great STUFFED with fries and I Loved it! I would 100% go back but i would personally try the chicken instead. The spanakopita was great and enough to share between two!“

We talked it through from beginning to end and he politely provided his recommendations based on what I said I liked EVEN down to which dressing to choose so as not to combine too many salty flavors based on my other choices. “Googled a breakfast place and this place popped up. Street parking is free before 9:00 a.m. which was nice, atmosphere was classic Mom and Pop diner. Server was friendly and energetic, got our food in less than 5 minutes, everything was perfect. I had the iced tea unsweetened it was very good, my sister had coffee black said it was some of the best coffee she'd ever had. We both got omelets hash browns and a meat side everything was spot on prices were very reasonable probably going back again tomorrow morning before we head back home.“

“I order catering from here for our office lunches and it is always a HUGE hit. We have ordered Greek food in the past but nothing compares to Athenian Fresh Grill. The food is absolutely amazing and authentic. We order a bit of everything and have never had any complaints. “Excellent Greek food!! Grilled calamari was delish!! Livraki (branzino) was perfectly grilled and seasoned nicely. Horitaki salad was great, and another person at our table enjoyed the seafood salad. Our server, Jennifer, was super sweet and accommodating. Prices were very fair. The owner, Maria came over to our table to check on us and she was also very sweet. Looking forward to going back!“

“The gyro had very little Taziki sauce and was a bit dry, I asked for a little more of the taziki and was charged $2. When I asked the lady who takes payment that inasked for it due to the gyro not having much in it she just said sorry. Food is always good but was taken back by the charge.“
