“We were in the area to see Cherry Blossom Festival in the local park. We originally planned to eat at our favorite restaurant Istanbul in Clifton NJ. We got hungry and looked for close by Turkish restaurants, found this place. Absolutely loved the ambiance, food and the service. We are hooked for life. Try the Calamari for appetizer, lamb shish kababs for main entry. Food was authentic and cooked to perfection. We will be back.“

Fries cooked perfectly, lamb/beef gyros good portion, falafels were awful. Fries & gyro both lacked FLAVOR/seasoning, falafel must be a basic frozen brand and I tossed them after eating only one. The price point is worth stopping in to decide for yourself because we all understand food is different for each individual. What I’m used to is more flavor forward but this worked for a quick bite before headed to the airport for my flight home.“

“First time there for myself. My wife had been there recently for lunch. OMG, amazing. We started with their homemade, warm Pita with Babaganush (sp?). Awesome. I had their Arugala salad, which I like wherever I go. This was amazing as well. Then we had our entrees. None of us could finish our meals, they were so plentiful and delicious. We each took home doggy bags. We told them we couldn’t possibly eat desserts so we ordered some to go. They then brought out hot Turkish teas for us AND a plate of a custard for us to share. Delicious!!! WOW! This place jumped right up near the top of our list for favorite restaurants. We will definitely be back.“

And then we had complementary Turkish tea and we all had desserts which were absolutely delicious someone with a sweet tooth would love. You grab a menu, then go to the counter to order. Food comes out quick, and it's a big portion size. Great area to walk as well. Highly recommend.“

“Had dinner here on a Friday well before closing. Upon arrival we noticed the restaurant was not terribly busy which was a plus figuring service would be faster boy were we wrong.

The server took our order and did not return once, a different server brought out our food. We have to flag a person down to get the check and observed our served just sitting at the bar or smoking, we waited for about half an hour. It really felt like we were bothering our server.

The food was wonderful though. I would give it one more chance.“

“Went this evening to try this new place as I was graving some shawarma. Had a beef shawarma that came with olives and pickles. Flavor was very authentic Middle Eastern in both the shawarma and pickles. I also had their fattoush which was very good. 2 people can easily be served from both the shawarma and fattoush! “We saw this stall on Pershing square and library way. Great food! Friendly gentleman working his magic on the blacktop. We got a chicken gyro and a combo gyro. Really good portions and the sauces were not overpowering, the red sauce is about half the heat of halal guys. Made to order. And there were benches to sit on a few yards away.“
