Terravita Downtown is a beautiful, stunning, and absolutely gorgeous hidden gem tucked away on the border of the Financial District and Battery Park City. The interior has warm lighting, stunning decor, and an intimate, spacious, and welcoming atmosphere that feels intentional and chic. The vibe is perfect for a date, a girls' night out, business dinners, or family gatherings. Some evenings, a live violinist elevates the experience with subtle, elegant music.
The food is incredible, thoughtful, delicious, flavorful, and top notch by NYC standards. Standout starters include the croquettes, burrata, beef tartar, Lebanese lamb hummus, short rib croquettes, tuna tartar, and crispy Brussels sprouts. For entrees, the yucca gnocchi is a must-try and something you don't see everywhere, while the New York strip steak is cooked perfectly. The baklava for dessert is a favorite and the perfect way to end the meal.
The beverage program is equally impressive, with smooth, refreshing, and balanced cocktails. Specific highlights are the Grove, the Moment of Clarity, and their version of a gin martini. The service is kind, welcoming, attentive, warm, genuinely friendly, and knowledgeable.
