“Great food, good people but the other reviews about watch your check are accurate. Would be much better if they just told you they were adding 18% to your check (it was a 2 person table, automatic gratuity not assumed). Quick to resolve but still, why be shady?“
“I’ve been coming to Rolo’s since they first opened and they really never disappoint. The food just gets better and better. Everything is amazing but my hands down favorite is the shrimp. I’d say it’s easily some of if not the best shrimp I’ve ever had in my life. The whole menu just compliments itself from the Calabrian chili butter to the wagyu steak. Also, Sitting in the back of the restaurant is such a cool experience because you get to watch the chefs work their magic on that wood fire grill. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in NYC and in my top 5.“
“I came here for the 1st time during restaurant week & I cannot wait to return back to try the rest of the menu.The staff & atmosphere was friendly & welcoming, you could tell locals come all the time. Everything I ordered was tasty, but the star of the show was my main entree, Moqueca (Brazilian fish stew with tomatoes, pepper, onions & coconut milk) - It was both comforting and flavorful.The fish was cooked to perfection (soft, tender & flaked easily with my fork), the coconuts milk stew was rich & robust in flavor, with a smooth enough consistency to coat your spoon. In summary, it was chefs kiss! ?“
“Early March my and wife and I held a baby shower there. They were extremely accommodating with us and our guest. They also were very friendly and it worked out very well. We had families and most of the ladies at the tables and we had filled the bar with our drinkers and younger crowd.Music was good/ food was good / service was great! Anne was such a great manager worked hand in hand with our coordinator to make that day such a great experience.Overall 10/10 would highly recommend your next event there.“

“This place is AMAZING!!! I came for my birthday and we got a whole room to ourselves (covid safe). The drinks are amazing and I really loved the lychee martini in particular, We got to choose our own music and they also host other events. The service is amazing and Bella is wonderful. I would definitely come here again! They also have two pool tables inside which is a great addition. Come here for a good time!!“
