Bella and her mamma keep a comfortable and friendly atmosphere all day long. Usually find Maribell dancing bachata with longtime Patrons and Bella sometimes twerkin behind the bar. Haha. Comedy night was pretty good and I believe there’s a DJ on Saturday nights. Pool table in the back and sometimes the jukebox is on.. ;-P. Great Place!“

“The experience was spectacular start to finish. Greeted nicely and service throughout was really excellent; paced well, not rushed or intrusive at all. really lovely. Hannah was great! We ordered from the restaurant week menu and a couple of other wise dishes (kimchi, bread and nori butter, patatas bravas). Of these the bread and butter was the least interesting, kimchi and patatas bravas were excellent. Starters -- frogs legs and hamachi, both amazing, cooked perfectly. Small plates -- soba a(with uni supplement) and celery salad, both excellent, soba was our favorite of the two. Salad was very fresh and nice. Entress, hangar steak and chicken sandwich. Steak in particualr outstanding -- cooked perfectly great sauce. Chicken sandwich is big and delicious Dessert -funfetti cake and panna cotta, both excellent. Drinks -- love the selections here boith zero proof and the wine/beer/cocktail options. Passion fruit marg and balsamic negroni excellent; sparkling hibiscus was really good and not to sweet. And the Cava by the glas very nice. The collab with brooklyn cider was a nice Basque style cider that paired nicely with the food. Overall, excellent and will be back!“

If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

Paul at the bar is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and his cocktails are beautifully balanced. We had a delightful conversation about gin and mezcal, and his expertise was evident.

Our table had a lovely view of the well-appointed and choreographed kitchen, adding to the overall ambiance. The service was impeccable, and there was no need to rush. We were given ample time to enjoy the food and the highest level of service.

When we made our selections, our server, Noelle, described each menu item in beautiful detail. The scallops in blood orange and romaine with green goddess were a standout dish, followed by bucatini for me and monkfish for him. The sommelier, Allie, paired the perfect wine for each course, enhancing the dining experience.

“I celebrated my bday with my besties in RH. I always wanted to visit. It looks so cuuuute and the chandeliers are nice touch. Make sure to dress up and take some pics. Food were pretty good. We got Caesar salad, Shrimp, salmon and French fries. Everything was delicious. Shrimp was too seasoned for my taste and overcooked. The server had excellent manners and gave us excellent customer service. I wish I remembered his name.“

They quickly welcomed us in with open arms and fresh hot coffee. It was one of the best brunches I've ever had, but what made it even more special was Joey the owner overheard our story, knowing we had a rough morning, and gifting us one of his comfort food cookbooks! “I made a reservation here for a work dinner. The ambiance was super nice. Friendly, helpful service the whole time and amazing food. I think we got close to one of everything on the drink, appetizer and entree menus. My favorites were the rosemary margarita, shoestring fries, spicy sausage pizza, butternut squash ravioli, and the hangar steak. There was some kind of mint salad that was super good. I haven't ever tasted a salad like that before, so it was a cool experience. We did everything family style with a few people ordering pork chops or a cheeseburger for themselves. The total with all 8 of us getting multiple drinks and tons of apps + entrees shared between us plus tax and tip was $810, which is more than fair for how much we ate + drank and how good the food and service was. Will definitely come back or recommend to anyone looking for a location to host a work/birthday/celebratory dinner or date.“

“5 stars are not enough to tell you how good this place is. We've been staying in the Franklin Guesthouse (hotel adjacent to Madre) for a couple of nights and decided to give Madre a shot - boy were we in for a treat! Firstly, shout out to Armando, who made us feel immediately welcomed with his warmth and energy! For food, we got the Frutti di Mare, Croquetas, Brussels Sprouts, Cornbread Madeleines (compliments from chef) and Chicken - massive MASSIVE props to Chef Bryan and his very talented team. To say that they cooked "well" would be the understatement of 2022. They absolutely blew our minds with top quality medley of ingredients, depth of flavor, and masterful execution in every way. Cocktails were fun and delectable, which added the perfect "pop" to the culinary rocket ship that Madre served up. Just when my wife and I were ready to call it a night, Chef Bryan and Armando were kind enough to bring out the Pot de Creme for us, which was the bow and ribbon on this very special dinner. My only regret of the night was not having enough stomachs to enjoy more of what Madre could serve up. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Madre!“

“Ramro was excellent! We had the duck and pork momos, beef longanisa, skate, duck, gnocchi and saag paneer. When it came to dessert, my son asked “can we get another skate?” Flavors were balanced and full and the skate, beef longanisa and momos were the favorites for us. It is very cozy and homey and the service felt like family. Oh, and my watermelon cocktail was excellent too. We are so excited about Ramro being so close and in the neighborhood; this will be our new family favorite.“

“Excellent food across the board—from the burger to the risotto, you truly can’t go wrong with any dish. We dined at Swoony’s for the first time on the recommendation of dear friends, and the food absolutely delivered. Hats off to the chef.

For starters, I highly recommend the lobster orzo and grilled prawns. As for mains, the burger, hanger steak, and butternut squash risotto were all outstanding. The cocktails were equally delicious.

The ambiance is great, though it does get a bit noisy, and the place was completely full. Service was attentive and seamless throughout. Dare I say I’ve found a new neighborhood favorite? It was that good.“

I moved here from Texas a year ago and love everything about the city (except for the rent), but I do miss Tex Mex and good tortillas. The server came to our table not to long after we were seated and took our drink orders. We ordered beers, coffees and Bloody Marys ,which were the star of the show. As for food we ordered the chicken Caesar sandwhich, quiche, chicken liver pate, gigante beans, pancakes and chips with aioli. The star of the show was the chicken liver pate, it had a great rich savory flavor with a hint of sweetness and was served on a nice soft piece of sourdough. The Scottie Pippen of the food order had to be the pancakes, they were savory and sweet with a hint of lemon. The only weak link of the bunch was the under seasoned gignate beans, which had an off day. Would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a brunch spot in WB or Greenpoint.“

“Holy cow! We just had the Restaurant Week Bento Box lunch from 232 Bleecker and it was just out of this world. Hands down the best meal we've had since the pandemic started. The way Chef Cupps teases the flavor out of vegetables and meats is just astounding. We are in heaven! We also ordered from 232 Bleecker on Christmas Eve, and the food was once again incredible. We are huge fans of Chef Cupps. She previously cooked at UnTitled at the Whitney which was our favorite restaurant in NYC. We are so glad that she and Nick and the rest of her beautiful staff are doing so well.“
