Unlimited food AND unlimited mimosas with a 2hr timeframe while others just provide unlimited mimosas with one entree. Plus its gorgeous inside and out. “It's a small cozy place and we were seated in what would be sunroom or outdoor space upon arrival. It was heated for winter. Felt a tad bit hot at times when the heat bursted but I think server reduced it. For drinks we ordered lychee martini but it tasted more like lemon than lychee. For appetizer ordered spinach and artichoke dip which pita chips. It was decent in tasting but it was missing the cheese pull for me. For entree, tried the mushroom flatbread and chicken sandwich for which both were good and flavorful. I wish the appetizer came out before entires as everything came out at once. To wrap up the night we got the salted caramel espresso martini which was delicious! The service was great and we were check on frequently.“

“Hoboken has a ton of really great places to eat, and Amanda's is, without a doubt, at the top of the list. We enjoyed a delicious brunch with our son while visiting him on campus. The restaurant staff is terrific; they really made us feel welcome and never tried to rush out the door. We had several orders of empanadas while we waited for our entrees; the beef was outstanding. We enjoyed the decor, it has that old NY/NJ feel, which added a really cool vibe to the restaurant and provided plenty of talking points while we ate. As we were admiring the walls and ceilings the manager approached us and started telling us some of the history. He was as nice and as friendly as could be. For the price it was well money well spent and left me with a some to eat for later. The service was quick and efficient, no issues there. As for the atmosphere it is organized, and sufficient. However I did order to-go, because I wanted to eat at my car. I definitely recommend coming here for a classic American meal. The cozy little bar had a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Sure enough, it had one of the best cheeseburgers!Admittedly I am someone who prefers my burgers cooked very rare. Often times I ask for this but restaurants often balk and give me medium rare at best. Not this time...the burger came out exactly as I asked for. I had the triple B which came with blackened seasoning, bacon and bleu cheese. It was dynamite!Highly recommend this spot.“

On my last visit here, the cocktail I ordered had a garnish listed on the menu. When I received my drink, there was no garnish. The bar was nearly empty at the time, so either they no longer serve the garnish, or they just didn’t set the bar up correctly that day.Will I return? Yes, definitely. But I won’t come here expecting a high attention to detail and inspiring food/drinks.“

First two weeks- everything perfect, proteins delicious, sides terrific and healthy, crispy broccoli, exactly what I was looking for. The last two weeks- veggie sides dripping in oil, not healthy at all, broccoli cooked mushy, and today they got my order completely wrong, though the receipt stapled to the bag was correct. “Onieal's is our absolute favorite burger in Hoboken. They never disappoint when it comes to cooking our burgers perfectly and their house-cut fries taste super fresh! Now they've even upgraded their buns to potato rolls which is a huge bonus for us personally. This time we even tried the chicken finger appetizer which was delicious including their amazing honey mustard. To note: the bar area can get kind of loud/rowdy especially on game days (it is a bar after all). But don't let that deter you if you'd like a quieter area they have both outdoor seating and an additional back room which are both less noisy. The service is always decent but their servers are definitely stretched a little thin. This will always be one of our favorite neighborhood go to spots!“

“Me and my wife stop by here on my birthday, we ordered a bunch of small plates. We both started with a crab cake each for appetizers. she order sticky ribs with French fries. I had the fry chicken sandwich with sweet potatoes fries and buffalo wings (dry rub). We enjoyed the food and both had some to take home. I enjoyed everything but my wife didn't really enjoy the crab cake as she was expecting to taste the same as del frisco eagle eye steak house. She did enjoy her main dish. Atmosphere was good and our waiter was cool, she even look out and gave us me complimentary slice of cake for my birthday and was really good. I live in the Bronx, NY and I will definitely go back!!!!“
“Farside Tavern has pretty much everything you'd want from a sports bar. First of all, they have a whole bunch of different TV screens all around, showing all the local sports teams and covering all games currently going on. Secondly, the service is great. On the topic of the TVs, I could see that the moment a game ended, one of the workers would immediately change the channel to another game. Aside from this though, our bartender (Valerie) and the manager were both super friendly and attentive. They clearly wanted to make sure we were taken care of and enjoying our experience. The place has a lively vibe with a great upbeat music selection without it being too loud to talk to others. It was fairly busy when we went on a Saturday night but I still didn't feel like it was really crowded or anything. There is a good amount of seating both at the bar and at tables elsewhere. As for the food, I got the boneless wings, which were 10 for $14 (decent deal). I tried some with parmesan garlic on it, which were fine but not great as they were slightly dry. However, I also tried some with the BBQ sauce and those were great - nicely crispy, moist, and much better than the others. The fries were also decent. To drink, I got an Orange Crush cocktail ($15), which is great if you like fruity drinks. This one basically just tasted like orange juice with some vodka in it (but it wasn't strong). My friend tried a bunch of other drinks and said that he was very impressed with all the cocktails that he got. Overall, with a great lively environment, all the local sports games showing on the many TVs, friendly service, and good food / drinks, Farside Tavern is the place to go in Hoboken for a good time out with friends or even if you're just trying to watch your favorite team play while enjoying some good vibes.“
