While the comedians were pretty funny, the greeter was not prepared for the night someone sat at our table that was reserved for us and refused to get up so the greeter told us that it was not our table and sat us all the way in the back. While I did prefer to sit in the back, it was not very nice or professional of him to just say our table was in the back just because his regulars refused to move out our reserved table. Besides that it was a very nice place but I will not be a return customer because of the preference.“

I travel from Manhattan about once per month to eat their Penne a la Vodka with grilled chicken. Their portions are large enough for two people to eat well. Their prices are very competitive these days where everything seems too expensive and unaffordable. “I went there with my boyfriend and his father during a trip in NYC and we weren’t disappointed. My boyfriend had the kofta kobab which had a very meaty texture. Their vegetables are fresh and everything is incredibly flavorful. My favorites are the meatballs and the tempeh wraps. The space is a little small and crowded.“

If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“
