Spanglish Bayside is a small but well decorated place on Northern Blvd. in Bayside, close to LaGuardia Airport. The restaurant is beautiful, clean, and sleek with top tech. The atmosphere is trendy and casual, though it can be a bit small and loud. The service is very good, with respectful, fast, and friendly staff who are helpful and incredibly kind. The food comes out at a reasonable time and is delicious. The menu includes flavorful tapas, fresh ceviches, tacos, and creative cocktails. Taco Tuesday is a great deal, and the tees leches is light, creamy, and the perfect level of sweetness. Lunch specials start with a house salad with delicious dressing or hearty soup. The grilled salmon with morita sauce, mashed potatoes, and avocado, and the tilapia offerings are good portions cooked to liking. The margaritas are quite good, as is the guac and chips appetizer. Churros with Nutella sauce and flan are both tasty and sweet. Highly recommend for intimate events.
