“Bareburger is one of my favorite burger spots! Their grass-fed beef burgers are incredible and I love that they truly cater to every dietary need. Gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan you name it, it’s all clearly listed on the menu, making it easy for everyone to find something delicious. The sweet potato fries are always perfectly cooked and so tasty. On top of that, the service is amazing. Sadia, in particular, is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely cares about making sure customers leave happy. “We love going to Foster—at this point, you could say we’re regulars. We typically sit at the bar. We especially love their specials, and I’m still thinking about the elk burger I had last year (please bring it back!).The oysters are always fresh and delicious, and the fried chicken is absolutely amazing. Recently, I’ve been loving the salmon with corn and shishito succotash and blueberry teriyaki. Honestly, everything is consistently fresh and delicious.

John, the bartender, makes excellent cocktails—many with fun names like Silence of the Lambrusco. He puts a lot of care into his craft, from house-infused ingredients to thoughtful presentation. He also always keeps you hydrated with their house water, which I truly appreciate.

Happy hour is a great deal and is available at the bar only, Wednesday through Sunday from 5:00–7:00 pm, and all night on Mondays. We love ordering the wood-fired Margherita pizza and fried chicken wings for $12.36, along with their house margarita at $10.30—delicious and affordable.

When we do get a table, the service is always spot on.

This year I decided to give the excellent and highly favored family cooking team a break and had Austin’s Ale House cater our Christmas Dinner. I went with the ham dinner for 10 to feed 7 people🤣. The ordering was done with ease and so was the pick up. The family did a preliminary tasting...... LOVED .IT and whatever we have left after the “taste test” will have to serve as our Christmas Dinner. Since the taste test was so aggressive we may need to supplement what’s left with a few cheese omelets 🤣. We enjoyed it so much there was much talk about it becoming the new family tradition. “My family and I went to Veranda restaurant in Bayside yesterday for. Birthday dinner. The restaurant is well located, with street parking and valet service as well. There’s an outdoor patio, that for obvious reason we couldn’t use. The temperatures in NY have been in the single digits lately. The food and the service were on another level! Gregory was very attentive, welcoming and friendly. The food was finger liking good! I had the pan seared scallops with spinach risotto and OMG. I can’t wait to go back. Everyone was pleased with the their food choices and I highly recommend this place, unfortunately I didn’t take pics of everyone’s food. Only if mine, I hope you find this review useful. There is valet parking, which in 10 degree weather is a huge plus.
There was a coat check which is another perk.
Then we were seated in the main dining area in a lovely and comfortable table with a cloth tablecloth and napkins, which is a great commodity nowadays in an era where even upscale restaurants have given into.
The service was phenomenal.
Presented with warm fresh rolls along with the menus. A food menu and a drinks menu.
We dined a three course meal which was outstanding. From the starters to desert everything was cooked perfectly, plated and presented like an upscale restaurant should.
The meal, service and atmosphere was worth the price.

“I had so much fun. The music, endless mimosas was awesome, but I will say I was disappointed with the steak and eggs I ordered. I asked for the steak to be cooked medium rare and it came out medium well. The took it back and a couple of minutes later brought out what appeared to be the same exact steak cooked medium well and the eggs were cold. It’s like they thought I wouldn’t notice??? So, if you like your steak on the rare side DO NOT order the steak and eggs. Order anything else in the menu and you probably won’t be disappointed. Other than the steak, everything else was great!“
