“I had a great time having dinner with my sister. I had not been here in several years. I ordered
Chicken Quesadillas and my sister ordered Crispy Chicken Wontons Both dishes were fresh and were seasoned well. For drinks I ordered a Glass Of Cabernet and my sister ordered a Rose.
The dinner was most enjoyable as we had such a friendly and helpful server named
Jessie. It was a hugh
plus to have her as our server. I will definitely return to Applebee's Grill and Bar. I recommend this restaurant for great food, drinks and service.“

We also had the fried cauliflower, saag burrata side and duck for main dish. For dessert we ordered silvana, which is so delicate with many layers of flavors: airy meringue, coffee cream, pistachios.

“this would be a great restaurant outside of nyc but after eating here makes sense why it was almost empty at 7:30 on a friday night. first, for some reason the AC was off on a summer night, it was so hot! at one point our server kind of went AWOL for like ten minutes after we said we needed a second to decide but i guess it happens and we were able to get someone else’s attention. A few notes on the food: the fluke crudo has a great sauce but you must slice the fish, you cannot just serve a raw filet of fish. the sauce doesn’t get to it and it is hard to slice raw fish while eating. cut the fish! the chicken entree was good but it was overcooked which shouldn’t be an issue with heavily breaded chicken. the poached hake was not cooked enough. the sticky rice dessert was really just rice pudding but was outstanding and the drink selection was very good.“

“I was very impressed, moonlighting in the bartender night life for the last 20 years. I normally don’t go out to bars. My sister and myself were down at Lenox hospital for our Dads surgery. One of the desk staff at Franklin Hotel recommended Penrose! The staff, manager and bartender were so friendly. I have to say I was very happy. “The food is really good. My go-to is the quinoa salad with grilled chicken or the grilled cheese with tomato soup. The salad is very refreshing and delicious and the grilled cheese with tomato soup just warms the soul. Their drinks will do what it needs to do lol. The staff are super friendly, the atmosphere is chill, relaxing and they have an outside area too. 10/10“

The tortillas were soft, the fillings were well seasoned, and everything tasted freshly prepared. We tried a few different tacos, which made it nice to share and sample different flavors.

The margaritas were just as good—refreshing, balanced, and not overly sweet like you get at some places. You could actually taste the tequila and fresh lime, and they paired perfectly with the tacos.

“Donovan’s Pub is owned by 2 Woodside gentlemen. The staff is amazing friendly welcoming and knowledgeable. The food is absolutely delicious and great portions. They have the Best Burger in NYC. It’s the best burger I have ever had. They have awesome live music every weekend on their brand new stage. Their lineup of musicians is the best around. I’ve been going there for 50+ years and I highly recommend Donovan’s Pub in Woodside NY.“

“GOLDEN K BURGERS has a good rating. The burgers are solid, though a little pricey and they did not have their signature Bulgogi Burger. The vanilla shake was solid, and the chicken wings were awesome. All the burgers were well-flavored and had a juicy patty. The server was friendly, but the narrow little restaurant looked a little sad, we thought there would be more people instead of being the only customers. I would go again, however. The lunch menu prices are worth it, and the happy hour from 4pm to 8pm seem worth it, too.“
