Easily the best Indonesian food in NY! Hands down to their Soto batawi, Tempe, fried chicken and pretty much all I ordered here are on spot!We always come here for dinner and it’s always full house. That goes to show how famous this place is. Highly recommend..
Awang Kitchen really cures your longing for Indonesia. I have tried various types of food, all of which are surprisingly close to home taste, so very grateful that there is this restaurant which really cooks from the heart. Listen, the gudeg is the star of the show, can't wait to try. The Mendo tempe is also really delicious! The owner is also super kind and friendly. Well done.
