This is the best Indian food in Midtown Manhattan. Unfortunately, for those who walk by, it is currently overshadowed by sidewalk scaffolding, and most people won’t notice it. Don’t “judge this book by its cover.” Once you enter, you are transported into a cozy, luxurious small restaurant, with classy decorations and lighting. The food is excellent, the waitstaff is extremely attentive, and the restaurant setting is stunning and reminiscent of a speakeasy. We enjoyed an amazing post-theater dinner here.
