“I traveled all the way from Upper West Side because a friend suggested it, and it was absolutely worth it!!! I loved the atmosphere, the restaurant, the wine list, and the food! I highly recommend trying the fagioli all’uccelletto, and don’t miss their pastas, we had a phenomenal cacio e pepe, and the cotoletta alla bolognese was truly amazing. Food is so authentic and spontaneous!!! We shared a bottle of their Poderi Melini Chianti Classico, which was perfect with our food and was recommended to us by Jacopo, in his typical Tuscanian accent. I’ll definitely be back! Ridgewood has a great Italian spot. What a discovery!“

“So freaking good. Came here for the first time after watching the owners journey online. We got the mortadella sandwich and the Sicilian tuna—all divine. I’m gluten free and asked if they could put the tuna on a bed of greens and they did 10/10!! Would highly recommend. Also the staff was super helpful and accommodating.“

“Genuinely the greatest vegan pizza I’ve ever had. I have had a hard time finding good authentic Italian food since being vegan and this food is actually this best vegan Italian food maybe on the planet. Not to mention the workers here were so extremely nice and welcoming. Very wholesome place. Will come back over and over.“

“Place been here forever. My kids really wanted ice cream while I was passing by I saw they had Gelato in the window so my kids wanted to try it. I wasn't expecting much but it was extremely good. My son said that was the best vanilla he ever had and so flavorful. Now he asks for it everyday. Also reasonably priced. I was very impressed. I got the hazelnut and biscotto it was sooooo good.“

“Wonder has been one of our most consistent go-tos. Pickup is usually easy, the system works, the space is clean, and the food has honestly surprised me from day one. When they first opened, it felt like every order was dialed in, like the kitchen cared.

I’ve tried a ton of the menu and there are staples I keep coming back to: the salmon is always generously portioned and perfectly cooked, the sauces and capers are on point, and the broccolini is genuinely one of the best sides I’ve had anywhere - that char + acidity goes with everything. Even the simple stuff like fries and potatoes hit when they’re done right.

That’s why I’m leaving this review: lately I’ve had a stretch of 5-6 orders with small misses that didn’t used to happen - missing toppings, uneven pizzas, a pizza with a huge bubble, broccolini missing the lemon dressing, stuff like that. Not enough to stop ordering, but enough that it makes me stick to the “safe” items instead of exploring.

Still a big fan, still ordering regularly, just hoping the consistency snaps back to how it was because Wonder at its best is hard to beat.“

“My partner and I love getting sandwiches from here for lunch! They have a perfect amount of options and they all slap! But our favs are The Genovese and Polpette(meatball) sandwiches. We can’t recommend enough if you want an Italian sandwich. As well their desserts and pastries are yummy too.“
