“Sottocasa has been a neighborhood favorite for years. The wood-fired pizza is some of the best in the city--the dough has the perfect flavor and chew! Wine is excellent and affordable. Good beer options too! Also good gluten free and vegetarian options for my friends with dietary restrictions.Vegetarian options: Verdure Pizza is amazing!“
“My uncle chose this place for dinner based on a recommendation and it was absolutely fantastic. The food and drinks were delicious, the service was outstanding and the atmosphere of the place was great. My favorite items are the spicy calamari, the creamy pasta with peas (not sure of the actual name of the dish) and the tiramisu. I will say that it does get a bit warm in there once it gets busy due to the size of the place and all the table side cooking they do, so you just gotta wear something lightweight. I highly recommend coming here if you want a fantastic dining experience.“
“Found this gem across the hotel we stayed at, excellent food and ambiance. Loved the creative combination of truffle, with lobster and nice cut of filet mignon. Tiramisu was great, next time I'll try the pistachio tiramisu to mix it up.“
“~ Great experience as always, I came for my first date with my husband 12 years ago, and I came for birthday January 2024 for 46th. Nothing has changed. Classic and fine dining is at its best ?, authentic as well... Ryan James and families, thank you, sir ...Parking: Friendly valet, please tip him. This gentleman does a great job, thank you, sir ?Kid-friendliness: The ambiance is friendly with kids since I have been going there, I have not heard any children crying... super on keeping the kids clam, kudos to all the server's“
“One of my favorite places to eat in NYC. Had my birthday party here a few years ago, and I came back recently and they have only improved. The backyard space is lovely, the food is expertly crafted, and they know how to keep a party going. Thank you Jose my friend!“
“The food and service were absolutely incredible! The staff made sure our every need was taken care of, the dinner was well paced and the atmosphere was comfortable, cozy, with plenty of room and privacy for conversation. Thank you for the amazing experience and the delicious food!!!“
“We got 4 slices, two at a time. Mushroom first. Delicious, crunchy, mushroom-y. Then went back for the fresh mozzarella slices... ? Strong ? flavor from the tomatoes and basil. So good. Really friendly service.Vegetarian options: There were at least three options for veg people. It's pizza.“
“A hidden gem in Downtown Brooklyn specializing in panzerotti, a unique Italian pocket of flavor. It’s not a calzone which can often be too heavy. Instead, you get a light thin crispy dough on the outside filled with a thin appropriate amount of filling, my favorite of which is the spicy salami, mozzarella, and tomato sauce. They have a variety of flavors, whether savory and sweet. One is good enough for a snack, 2 for a meal. The owners are always there and super nice at every visit.“
“Add it all up -- absolute deliciousness, warm atmosphere, charming hosts -- and Cremini's is a 100% can't-miss dinner place. My favorite among the many outstanding restaurants in our neighborhood. This is a business worthy of supporting. Do not fail to have fried stuffed olives, order any pasta, and you will have a spectacular dining experience. Love this spot!“
“I love this place. My grandchildren ask to go for the brick oven pizza, chicken Milanese, meatball and spaghetti with lemon.Alessandro handles the bar beautifully and Sara is a lovely server. They run a professional and very friendly place. Food is terrific and they go the extra mile for families.“
“We had an amazing Valentine’s Day dinner! The service was 10/10 — thank you, Leo, for taking such good care of us! We sat in their enclosed patio area with our small dog and they were so accommodating. The food is delicious as well! Generous portions and everything tasted so fresh and the pasta was piping hot when it came out (and cooked perfectly al dente). We had two salads to start and then the pappardelle and spaghetti as our mains. Can’t say enough good things about this place! We look forward to returning soon.“
“Delicious panini and baked goods! Service is always very friendly and welcoming. One of my favorite places in Astoria! Great for dine in, takeout, or delivery. They have a lovely outdoor patio in the back, and the indoor dining space is cute as well.“
“Can't recommend this place enough. Pasta portions are very generous and they come out with your food very quickly. You can easily go in and out of this restaurant within 30 minutes, although at the same time you are never rushed to leave.“
“Me and My Husband decided to try out Michael’s for the ball drop on New Year’s Eve 2024. We had the best night of our lives here. The food was incredible, The service was amazing and the place was packed and fun. We also didn’t want to judge this place by this one night considering it’s New Year’s Eve, and it was packed and it could be a little hectic and crazy because of the holiday, but they did not disappoint at all. We are still talking about how amazing this whole experience was. The whole feel of the restaurant was just perfect. The food was absolutely fantastic, and everything came out in perfect timing. Our waiter John was outstanding and made us feel very welcomed. There was live music which made the night even more perfect, and the decor was phenomenal. I also love that we could get very dressed up and how classy this place is. We will be returning on January 20th for my birthday celebration. ? and I can’t wait.“
“This dining experience was delicious and delightful from start to finish! The host was very gracious and made excellent recommendations. The fresh pasta and octopus were wonderful and the tiramisu was absolutely exceptional. Cannot recommend this place enough!“
“Post theatre favorite! We had the charcuterie board and artichokes to start followed by swordfish, rigatoni bolognese and a penne with a bit of spice that was delicious. What I especially love is the charming atmosphere and the ability to order decent house wine by the liter served in a pitcher as is done in Italy. A very nice touch. We shared an olive oil cake to have a bite of something delicious and sweet to end our meal. I always come back here and am never disappointed.“
“Food was excellent; specifically, an imaginative gem salad, al dente green beans almondine, a tasty-if-somewhat-unconventional linguine al vongole, and well prepared veal piccata. Unlike similar restaurants in Times Square, Tony's offers several classic veal dishes, which was one reason we decided to dine there. Word of caution: dishes on the dinner menu are meant to feed two, or maybe three people, but after 10 PM (or for lunch), you can get half orders of most items. We reserved for 10 PM to take advantage of half orders and the variety they provided. Fairly priced wine list included a nice falanghina from Campania. Service, provided by Ms. Esta, was outstandingly professional and excellent. Four rather than five stars because of an almost headache inducing noise level. We were not expecting quiet and calm here, but it sure didn't help that they were blasting recorded music with the volume turned way up.“
“One of the best pizza places in NY!One could not go wrong with any pizzas! They are delicious!Home made tiramisu is also a top notch!Adding to that amazing service (thanks to our server Ilse and the gentleman at the bar/near the entrance) and beautiful music! Thanks for making our evening!“
“We had a truly wonderful meal here! The service was excellent and the waiters were helpful and friendly. The place is small, but not uncomfortable. The raw beef slices and arugula was a great start to the meal. Excellent cut of meat and flavorful dressing on the greens, also served with delicious cheese. The pasta dishes are amazing. The sauces and meat served in the dishes were quite outstanding. Each bite was riveting. The desserts were a perfect end to a great meal. The tiramisu was seriously the best I've had.Would recommend!“
“We were a party of 6 two adults and 4 teens. We wanted a place off the beaten path and can get good food at a decent price. This place did not disappoint at all. It has a quaint European style with an NYC feel. The service staff was very attentive and the food was delicious. We ordered 3 appetizers the meat balls and fried calamari was delicious. The pizza were brick oven my only suggestion if you like a crisper crust ask them to keep it longer. We are planning on going back.“
“I hadn't been there in ages, even though it is in my Murray Hill neighborhood. I was truly blown away by the incomparable level of service and decorum we experienced. The servers were professional without being starchy and anticipated and attended to your every need or wish with grace and politeness. The Maitre d was exceptionally accommodating and warm and the food was spectacular. Overall, a terrific night out!“
“A very nice place to get your slice of pizza to take away or to eat on a corner of a stool. Neapolitan pizzas are generous, with a thick and crispy dough at the same time. The people at the counter are efficient and friendly.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“While visiting New York City, I had the pleasure of dining at Lucciola Italian Restaurant, located in the Upper West Side. This establishment isn't just about serving food; it's about delivering an authentic Italian cuisine experience that's hard to find elsewhere in NYC. The No Menu Tasting Menu, paired with an exquisite selection of wines, offers unparalleled value for money. Chef Michele Casadei Massari is a true artisan, whose talent in crafting handmade pasta and bringing Bologna's traditional dishes to life is simply astounding. For anyone looking for the best Italian in NYC, Lucciola is a culinary treasure waiting to be discovered..Dietary restrictions: Can accommodate allParking: Easy to park in the areaKid-friendliness: Not the place for kids“
“This and Pizza Sam's the last good pizza places in jackson heights. Pizza Sam is overpriced. This place is a bit overpriced but it's not to bad, they gotta compensate for inflation so i get it. The guy at the counter is great. If u guys read this I got a question. U deliver 10 blocks up to 93rd street? Between roosevelt and elmhurst ave? Thanks“
“I've been here twice, both times were good. I've enjoyed the Caesar salad, although it is massive (and also $26) as well as caprese (standard, basic), fritto misto (a good option for sharing, fried well), and an item I can't find on the menu anymore but it was a cross between a pizza and a pasta. The service is friendly, I wish they didn't have to wear those fedoras though, lol. It has a touristy vibe that just feels out of place for this neighborhood. The interior is a nice size and they can definitely accommodate a 4-5 person party. A decent place to dine in FG but not the end all be all of pasta in NYC. 4/5“
“Definitely an experience. Food was good. Pasta is fresh made to order. However the most comfortable I felt in the place was in the bathroom, it was the most spaceous place, there was room to breathe. If you're claustrophobic consider taking it to go. It's the kind of place where you stand on line to order they give you a number and you look for a place to sit. I personally would have been more comfortable eating in the car. With all that being said I'm glad I experienced it, next time I would just take it to go. Again I will say the food was good.“
“Where to even begin? I guess with a, go to Joe’s, you won’t regret it.My wife and I have been coming to Joe’s since we first moved back to Ridgewood - 3 years ago and it has become our go to spot for date night and celebrations. The staff is incredible and the food is perfection! I we have tried the entire menu multiple times over and have no critique, there is something for everyone! Check em out, you won’t regret it!“
“Three words: chicken bacon ranch. Andiamo is my go-to for a late-night slice when I'm staying nearby. The pizza is ooey gooey with a pliable crust and abundant toppings. And there's a great selection of them. The guys who work here are so welcoming and friendly. Give 'em a try.“
“Service was great. I was added to the waitlist with a 45 minute estimate but they called within 5 minutes. The Tie Dye pizza seemed to be the favorite of everyone there and it was tasty. Nice servers, too.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options“
“Catered a tray of wings for my super bowl party the whiskey wings to be specific. Whenever you cater food it’s normal to be weary about the quality, wherever you go, not here and not with these wings. It is now a day after the super bowl and I reheated them, and somehow someway they were better the next time. Absolute 10/10 would recommend to a president.“
“Went out with friends for dinner recently, someone in our group recommended we come here and it was a great choice, laid back vibes, the food was delish, the service was wonderful, our waiter was the mustache guy, his mojitos were literally some of the best I’ve ever had, we will definitely be coming back soon for dinner again and for more of mustache guys mojitos!“
“We have eaten here numerous times and the food, service, and atmosphere are always 5 Star Delicious!! Baked clams were cooked to perfection, Spaghetti pomodoro would have been 5 Stars if it did not have parmesan cheese on it. It gets 4 Stars instead, not that I don't love cheese, it just takes away from the sauce. Their pomodora sauce is one of the best I ever had. I actually crave it sometimes, it is that delicious!! Their caesar salad gets 5 Stars, it is consistently the best I ever had. Their homemade dressing has the perfect amount of anchovies in it, along with the outstanding shaved Parmasaen cheese!!?“
“Just came here today with a friend and enjoyed a lovely lunch! Literally everything on the menu was amazing and would definitely come back here again to try more! We had the octopus appetizer that was so wonderfully seasoned and perfectly cooked. Also had the scalloped potatoes, zeppole with ham, tortellini pomodoro, and cavatelli with ragu. Everything had such unique flavors and some even a fusion - the cavatelli for one felt like the beef ragu had a jerk/curried flavor which was so good! To finish it all off, the almond cheesecake was divine! The atmosphere was great, music on point, and not too loud that you can't converse with your company. The service was excellent! The green apple sorbet at the end of the meal is delightful. Would love to come back!“
“We went before a show and had the best experience. We sat at the bar and Alexander was amazing. Great service and very witty as well. He also recommended great wines. I highly recommend this spot for great food and service! I’d add pictures but we already ate and drank all the good food and wine.“
“This place has a LOT of online hype so we visited for the first time & was BLOWN away! Coletta is a 100% all vegan Italian place with some of the BEST FOOD I’ve ever had! We made reservations for a Tuesday night. Upon entering, you are taken away by all the beautiful details. It’s a really beautiful space with such a nice ambience. The wait staff was amazing & super attentive & helpful with recommending dishes! What we got:- garlic knots. Came out beautifully presented with 6 nice sized garlic knots. They were the perfect texture complete with fresh herbs & olive oil. They were SO good!- Truffle mushroom pizza. It was a nice sized pizza that the two of us shared. This had to be one of the BEST vegan pizzas I’ve ever had (and I’ve dined at a lot of vegan pizza joints) The crust was perfect with either olive oil or butter which just made it extra flavorful! The cheese was perfectly melted complete with dollops of vegan ricotta. The mushrooms were generous & it has fresh herbs. Seriously, pizza lovers dream right here!- tiramisu. The vegan tiramisu here is the best vegan dessert I have EVER had. The “cream” on top was Devine. Layered with crumbled cookie (biscuit? Wasn’t sure but it was great) mixed with espresso & dark chocolate goodness. It was a nice size serving & hit the spot for dessert. I will forever dream of this tiramisu!!We are SO happy we chose Coletta for our dinner date. The ambience, the staff, the food, everything here is PERFECT! Every bite of food was perfect, delicious & worth all the online hype. This place is serving up amazing vegan Italian in the heart of the city where Italian food is king. Such a gem!“
“Title: A Birthday Treat: Warm Hospitality and Authentic Flavors at Sofia's Little ItalyReview:Celebrating my birthday at Sofia's in Little Italy was a true culinary delight. From the moment we stepped in, the welcoming family atmosphere enveloped us. The air was filled with soft rock classics, including familiar tunes from the Bee Gees, providing a relaxing backdrop. While seating was on the simpler side, the food truly stood out, making Sofia's shine. The chicken parmigiana for my wife and the spaghetti with meatballs for me were textbook examples of Italian comfort food at its best. Each dish was cooked to perfection: the pasta al dente, the chicken juicy and brimming with flavor. The chef's expertise in balancing spices and showcasing the freshness of the ingredients was apparent in every bite, with the dishes served at just the right temperature to enhance the flavors. Our meal commenced with a warming chicken vegetable soup, perfectly setting the stage for the rich flavors that followed. A refreshing diet coke for myself and a robust glass of red wine for my wife complemented our dishes beautifully. Yet, the real star of our meal was the bread basket, filled with homemade and special garlic bread and special virgin olive oil, rich in flavor and with peppery notes; it elevated the simple bread into a memorable part of our meal, showcasing the impact of high-quality ingredients. As we dined, we noticed the inviting outdoor seating, ideal for warmer evenings. Despite the tempting dessert menu, the generous portions of our main course left us thoroughly satisfied, making it a perfectly fulfilling birthday dinner. In conclusion, our dinner at Sofia's was not just a meal but a celebration of authentic Italian flavors wrapped in warm hospitality. It provided us with memories that extended beyond the plate, marking it as a perfect spot for a special occasion.“
“Got the black and white and tri color cookies from an Italian Restaurant in Longwood Fl (Cafe Paisano) and they are amazing! Reminded me of the cookies I used to get years ago on Franny Lew in Queens. Just get them when they are fresh and they are fantastic.“
“Amazing quality food and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. I instantly feel at home when I walk into Sergimmo’s. Their mozzarella is THE BEST I’ve ever tried. I love this place and am always satisfied and pleased with my orders. Thank you, Sergimmo!“
“Went there with my friend today. Hands down, best pizza I have had in Astoria. Order Marinara sauce on the side, trust me. Service was as good as the pizza, ladies inside were really nice. Highly recommend this place if you are a pizza lover like I am. I’ll be back for sure!“
“Roberto gave us great service. The outdoor tent was quiet and spacious - the perfect place for friends catching up over incredible plates of pasta. The gnocchi alla sorrentina was fantastic as always - light clouds of pure deliciousness. Great place!“
“One of my favorite places. I'm shocked how many people don't know about this spot. The homemade roti is one thing, but that foie gras mousse has my heart. I don't know if it's still on the menu but the salted caramel cake was also ridiculous ? Atmosphere is great for date night and really feels like one of those local hidden gems. Highly recommend this as your next night out.“
“Villard Houses. After seeing the hotel where Gossip Girl was set, I immediately made a reservation and went to an Italian restaurant.I think it's a typical Italian restaurant atmosphere. The food is decent, the service is quick and friendly, and they're quick-witted.It was delicious. Please refer to the receipt photo.“
“Finally i got to try the famous “Schiacciata” dell’Antico Vinaio, after i was craving it since years, i had the pleasure to be served by Matteo, very knowledgeable and he suggested me the best schiacciata i could try!!Thank you Matteo, gonna be back for sure, grazie!!!“
“Harrison was an amazing bartender/host. He was friendly, helpful and gave us the best drinks. The food was amazing and it was overall an experience to remember. The pizza is the best pizza EVER. I am from Maryland where this pizza is from and I am in heaven.“
“What a bomb Italian grocery shop! Our friends told us about this place so we drove a good chunk to come here and it was definitely worth it.Delicious Italian cheeses brought us back home and also certain prepackaged cookies and snacks totally warmed our hearts. It's a rather large grocery store where you'll find all kinds of Italian things from cheese to pasta, everything is imported from Italy. We loved the semi stagionato cheese and took home a lot of delicious black pepper cheese. Loved finding many different things I normally don't while bringing back some nostalgic things we love. If I'm in the area again I'll for sure make a quick stop here, totally worth it.“
“I love the vibe of this tiny standing wine bar. It reminds me of a traditional Japanese izakaya. You don't get much cozy neighborhood bars in Manhattan anymore, especially not in Chelsea, which is flooded with trendy cocktail bars serving $20 pre-tax/tip cocktails. Somehow the food served manages to be simply delicious as well. And no, that's not the wine talking.1. WHITE ANCHOVY (marinated in vinegar + sicillian olives) $72. GRILLED CALAMARI (sauteed kale, bottarga) $163. GRILLED BRANZINO (shredded carrots, celery, onion dressing) $174. PENNE AMATRICIANA (applewood smoked bacon, onion, parmesan, tomato sauce) $16“

“Thank you so much! My sister and I went to little Italy to dine at Puglia originally. We got there on time and still had to wait! We decided to call around for somewhere else to eat on the spot and we found Zia Maria. The man answered the phone immediately and told us to come in! He was very nice. We were seated as soon as we got there and service was amazing. Everyone is very hospitable. The food was amazing- we had Arancini, Calamari, Risotto, and the Lobster Ravioli. Portions were very generous and the food was cooked perfectly. The drinks were amazing! Dieko was so attentive and such an amazing bartender. We will absolutely be back! Thanks again! <3 Much love from D.C.“
“Step into Lillo Cucina Italiana for cozy vibes and unbeatable Italian cuisine in Brooklyn. From perfectly cooked dishes to incredible sauces, every bite is a delight. With reasonable prices, it's a top pick for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended for those craving authentic Italian flavors in a welcoming atmosphere.“
“Didn't expect it but, The New Taste of Italy was definitely magnificent. Rates are absolutely reasonable. Most everything I've tried so far have been pretty good. The team are really attentive and friendly and they're great at giving recommendations. I almost hate to give 5 stars cause I want to keep The New Taste of Italy a secret.“
