“My favorite local pizza place. Most of the time I really like this place, sometimes it can be a miss. I ordered delivery from here recently and there was some miscommunication I had to call back after 40 minutes to ask them to deliver it. Anyways.. I’ve been ordering here for a while so despite the mishap I continue to be a returning customer.“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“We went into Cafe Mars with little knowledge beforehand and we're pleasantly surprised by our experience there. The food was overall excellent. We went when they had the Japanese Italian fusion menu and loved most of the inventive dishes. The salt bread was our standout favorite and the tofu time was solid.

We loved that the staff and the ambiance made it feel like it was a fun celebration of dining. From the first seating through the plating and music, it felt like a welcoming and positive environment to enjoy inventive dishes.

The staff was friendly and professional. It made me feel like if the staff are this happy with there, then they must be treated well by the restaurant ( I hope).“

“We came here last night at the last minute - no reservation. Doing that on a Saturday night in the trendy west village usually results in a firm “no” from the maître D’. Instead , our party of 4 was welcomed into a lovely restaurant , quiet yet lively with a very friendly and attentive waitstaff. Had a great time and would definitely return.“

“Honestly, a stunning gem of a neighborhood restaurant. I loved their beet salad with dates, the dates were so soft and juicy. The pork chop was very good, but just a little bit dry for my taste. The desserts were smashingly good, we had the olive oil cake with cream in a prune sauce, as well as the coffee mousse. Would highly recommend!“

“We used to frequent the Astoria location which was always so great. The new Manhattan location is no different. Somewhat smaller, but just very cozy and very nice looking. Amazing food as always. The flavors and taste are just the best. No matter what you order you will not go wrong. The service is top notch and Rocco and his staff are just the best at what they do. “I have Celiac's disease and need to be GF for life. I loved that they had gf appetizers. I got the GF calamari and shared it with the table . No one complained about it being GF. I had the chicken parm with the gf pasta. It was delicious. I wish I had time to try the GF desserts but I had to catch a train back to Albany. This restaurant is the Best GF Italian in NYC. Will definitely come back next time I am in the city!“

The burrata was fresh and rich, with an original and delicious interpretation of caprese. The tender octopus, with potatoes and peas in two ways sends your senses to Italy in first class.“
