My son devoured the mozzarella sticks. My husband got the linguini alfredo with breaded chicken and I got the penne ala vodka with grilled chicken. The portions were huge, we could have definitely shared. But the food really was fantastic.“
“This sandwich shop was one I hadn't tried before. I stopped in to grab some comfort food after having a particularly bad day. The young people behind the counter seemed more interested in flirting and gossiping than dealing with customers. I placed my sandwich order, then stood patiently waiting for it. A woman walked in a few minutes later and ordered the same sandwich I did. When mine was ready, they gave it to her and she quickly left. Making me wait twice as long for mine. A minor annoyance to be sure, but it took every bit of my patience to not make a scene after the day I had leading up to this moment. I'm giving them four stars because, despite the poor service and lack of any atmosphere, the sandwich I bought was outstanding. It was the special of the day; their version of a Cuban sandwich. The very fresh bread and perfectly cooked pork was the comfort I needed.“

This time today , the waiter wasn’t as attentive and we had all the plates from appetizers still on the table when the main course came , and when I ask cappuccino one other waiter which was attentive told us they wasn’t any milk, and when we ask our main waiter he said he was Going to double check and never came back to us with an answer but came back with the check. “You have to remember that when you dine in a Michelin star you will be paying a big price for tiny portions. So all that aside the food itself was truly amazing. You must get the gnocchi fritto. The bread is pillowy soft, not greasy at all and pairs so well with the salty proscuitto. I was most excited about the uovo ravioli and tbh it was a bit disappointing but I think this was just a personal preference because of all accts it should be a perfect dish. You need to be prepared to go all out because otherwise you will leave hungry.“

“I came with my girlfriends for brunch for a belated birthday. We started off with unlimited mimosas. I had four glass and was tapped out. The waiter knew it was my birthday and he kept making sure my glass was full at all times. I had the poach eggs. My friend had the omelette and my other friend has the dish with the amazing bread. They both order hanger steak on the side and it was cook to perfection. I had a wonderful time and I truly recommend giving it a try. You won’t be disappointed in the food nor the atmosphere. I had a birthday celebration for a party of seven...on a rainy night the place was warm and welcoming. We put together a tasting menu and all of us were wowed. A "cheese platter" that a cheese lover would savor. Chewy mushroom calamari with a magical aioli, fried artichoke with the lightest coating, pizza from fig, to sausage to wild mudhrooms with a soft chewy crust and deceivingly realistic cheese; pastas from a delicious eggless porkless spagetti carbonara, "squid ink" ravioli that was a stunningly luscious mystery to me. These were the highlights of a memorable dining experience in a charming place.“
“Came to L'incontro for a casual lunch on a Saturday around 2p. Did not have a reservation and was immediately seated. I gotta say, the service was excellent! Many waiters were serving us and they were constantly checking if we needed something. They were refilling out waters all the time and it was just very polite. What was interesting is the "daily special menu", the waiter was standing their reading about the daily special for like at least 5 mins and we had to stop him from continuing. Either way, we got the bucatini cacio e pepe and it was very yummy. My husband got the veal and it was not the most photogenic dish, but tasted much better than it looked. We also got the octopus, which was soaked in balsamic, also very nice. Overall a very nice traditional Italian place.“

My boyfriend and I shared: Appetizers: -Seared scallops: I know right, scallops. Generic usually? But these were in an amazing sauce which was devoured with our side of bread. -Octopus carpaccio: Perfect amount of freshness to balance the rich scallops. Main: -The wood fired fish for two: they brought the fish out from the kitchen to show us the fish in flames and that was very cute and appreciated -Meatless Rigatoni: I seriously held on to this dish to the very last moments even though I didn’t have enough room to finish it lol I was obsessed with the sauce Dessert: - Panna Cotta: the balsamic reduction was something I did not expect with this dessert but it was magical“
“We came across Aura on a night out, and we are so happy that we decided to go in. We loved it so much, that we stayed till closing. The owner welcomed us with so much warmth, and hospitality.He was incredibly accommodating and got us seats by the beautiful, electric bar even though it was full. We came at 5:30 on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy at first, but all the tables filled up as the night went on. It's a smaller restaurant but the ambiance is very classy and the decor is beautiful. You can just tell the food is going to be good when you walk in. We got the burrata and garlic bread as apps - both were really good but the garlic bread was my favorite! I got the short rib pappardelle as my entree, which was delicious and very fresh. They also have a nice wine menu to choose from. I don't remember which wine I got (it was a white wine on the happy hour menu), but it was really good! The service was also great, and our waiter was very attentive. “i ordered their prosciutto and burrata (which comes with imported burrata and 24 Month prosciutto di parma), tonnarelli cacio e pepe (pasta with pecorino and black pepper), and infernetto pinsa (roman style pizza with tomato, mozzarella, spicy soppressata, and pecorino). all in all, every dish was made with fine ingredients and was cooked well. the burrata was very creamy and delicious, i would recommend it if you’re a fan of burrata cheese. the pizza had a good coal fire taste to it and came out hot and flavorful (the spicy soppressata was tasty, but i would like to try some of their other flavors eventually). the cacio e pepe was tasty and had a strong pecorino flavor (creamy, rich, slight cheesy musk to it). the pasta had good texture and mouthfeel (firm al dente noodles). all in all a decent spot for italian!“
