We were seated quickly with our reservation for six and the restaurant had a warm, cozy vibe. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive throughout the meal. The delicious pizza we ordered as an appetizer came out quickly and the reasonably priced bottles of wine were equally tasty. Both the lasagna and the homemade pappardelle with braised short ribs ragu were super flavorful and really outstanding dishes. My family and I enjoyed an amazing New Year’s Eve dinner at Barbalu BKLYN a few years ago, and we still remember it fondly. The wood-fired pizzas were exceptional, with fresh ingredients, incredible cheese and perfectly baked Neapolitan-style crust. Everything was balanced beautifully and everly bite was filled with flavor. Easily one of the best pizza experiences we hade in New York. Highly recommended!
