I don’t know anyone who doesn’t speak highly of Tamburino’s.“

“Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. He even came over and sang for our party and had us dance which was not expected but a fun surprise that we loved! Overall we had a great event here and I am so happy we chose them to host it!“

“My wife and I really enjoyed the entire setting family style dinning. We both love eggplant very much the seasonings were not salty or spicy plenty of sauce stuffed with fresh ricotta cheese. All of what we could see were large entrees no fru fru at all. This is another local good place to dine in Floral Park.“

“We were traveling to the area from out of state for a family gathering, if we were going to Long Island I wanted real Italian Food. After research found this spot, made a reservation based on an estimate on when we would be getting into town.
Ended up being earlier than anticipated, called the restaurant they were able to accommodate my husband and I earlier. Along the way a family member was also getting into town and wanted to join us for dinner, they were able to adjust the reservation on the fly to accommodate us.
The wait staff was awesome. Explained the menu, specials.

“One of the best Italian restaurants in Lynbrook or anywhere else. They use the freshest and highest quality ingredients and prepare the food exquisitely. I ordered takeout tonight for six people in my extended family and served it family style, and everyone was raving about the food. We ordered Scallops Oreganato, Shrimp Stuffed with Crabmeat, Chicken Francese, Zuppe di Clams White Sauces and a few appetizers and it was all superbly prepared. Several of us were from other towns and repeatedly asked me how to find this place so they could visit in the near future.“

“Our first time here, based upon reviews and vicinity to our home. While the food was tasty, hot and nice portions, the service was terrific the overall atmosphere was lacking. It was excessively loud, small and cramped dining area. The seating should have been about 25 not the sqeezed in seating of 36, when we sat to ate.
I recommend reservations, like we had, to sit for dinner, even on a Sunday.
My wife had the pear & walnut salad, the fusilli pasta & sausage and Italian (made in-house) cheesecake. All were great. I had the watermelon & feta salad, salmon piccata with veggies and pistachio Gelato.

It is average market priced.
Clean environment, and bathroom, but the kitchen door to the dinning room should have remained closed.
We will try it again in the near future.“

Looking forward to the next steak night in August. The owner Michael is warm and friendly. “My son took me here for a birthday dinner after hanging at Rockaway Beach. This was one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. The pasta is homemade and delicious. “We were attending an event at Queens College and wanted to have a lunch/dinner afterwards, so we searched for restaurants nearby. There were many choices, but I was impressed by the website and menu for Piccolo Sogno. Following the event, joined by four friends, my wife and I made the short drive to the restaurant. It was a hot day, and at first we said we would like to dine inside. But the gracious host said we were welcome to check the outside seating first--and we're so glad we did! In the lovely, covered garden, we comfortably began a great feast! Piccolo Sogno has a nice selection of wines and beers as well as sparkling water. That was followed by delicious Calamari Fritti (done to perfection) and a Hot Antipasto Sampler with more calamari, baked clams, eggplant rolatini and amazing fried shrimp. We followed that with Pollo Alla Francese (some of the best I've ever had), Spaghetti Carbonara, Penne Vodka, and Insalata Dello Chef with chicken. These were served with generous side orders of Caesar salad or pasta. The service was friendly, courteous and at a pace that made for a wonderful afternoon. Even though we were extremely well-filled, we ordered dessert, and are so glad we did! The Limoncello Flute was one of the best desserts we've had, as was the Chocolate Mousse. Some iced expresso (wait until you see the special way it is layered!) and coffee would have been the end of a perfect meal, but then Chef Maurizio himself came out to spend some time at our table. After a nice conversation, he took this selfie shot of us all. As we left, the wonderful staff of the restaurant all greeted us and thanked us for coming. I can't remember the last time that happened in such a warm and spontaneous way. I could not more highly recommend a restaurant. We live in Manhattan and have our choice of some of the best restaurants anywhere--but actually, I look forward to returning to Piccolo Sogno!“

“Meta always goes above and beyond for a fabulous dining experience. This past Sunday, I called to see if it was possible to bring in an Elvis impersonator for my Dad who is in remission from cancer. Not only was Roberto and his staff receptive to the idea, the whole restaurant was singing along with Elvis and all of us. This night was truly magical and I cannot thank Roberto and his staff enough for making my Dad’s dining experience so memorable.
