“I recently ate here 2 times in 2 months, the food was average. I ordered brown stew fish, rice and peas with steamed veggies, 2 drinks and a slice of carrot cake. The rice was plain, there was no real flavor, it was just rice. The fish itself was pretty good but the sauce was not good, it tasted like veggies cooked down in ketchup and water. The steamed cabbage was sour as if it was old, it was not consistent, there were large tough pieces that were inedible. The food seem to be prepared in a rush. The carrot cake was dry, again it seemed old as well. The soda the lady gave was hot, she knew what she gave me because it was separate from the others, it was flat and hot I feel like that was deliberate. I will say, the customer service is very good (except for the lady that served me, she seemed nice but obviously what she gave me proved otherwise). The cashier was extremely sweet, professional, and nice. Other employees on my previous visit were extremely nice as well. The food on my prior visit was pretty good resulting in my return visit yet this last visit was quite disappointing and I don’t know if I’ll return, perhaps it was an off day but I expected much more from this restaurant. I did not enjoy my meal, especially after spending over $30 dollars and picking up myself .“

Brookville Bar and Grill American •

“Staying at the Holiday Inn the night before flying to Bermuda for Valentine's Day and we gotta eat right? Why not try this place out? The front desk also gave us some drink vouchers so we appreciated those as well. Here's how things went! Atmosphere/Appearance: "Lol". I'll lead with that. This place just feels like it was here JUST to say to have a restaurant inside. It was plain and tastefully decorated with Valentine's Day stuff. The bar is off to the left side and the dining room to the right, but who wants to hang out in there?! To the bar we go! It wasn't very busy and was quite quiet, but we didn't mind. Service: Karina was taking care of the whole restaurant (all of like 8 people) and Sharon was behind the bar. They were both awesome and because they seemed bored, took extra good care of us. Lol. Food: I went with the Chicken Club. I was pleasantly surprised at how amazing it was. Chicken was juicy, bacon was crispy and the wheat bread was deliciously buttery. My sandwich was accompanied by sweet potato fries which were a great complement to the club. Like I said, I was pleasantly surprised, but that goes to show you can't judge a book by it's cover. Value: You know how hotel food prices are inflated, especially near an airport, but that's not quite the case here. My sandwich with 2 sides was $13.95 and my fiancée's Chicken Fajita Wrap (along with sides) was only $11.95. Not too shabby! Hey, I'd eat here again for sure. If Karina and Sharon are there it'll be a party! It beats fast food and having to get in your car to drive somewhere! Lol.“

“So this is your typical airport bar/restaurant in Terminal 8 at JFK, but I must say the staff here was perhaps the nicest, friendliest, and most attentive group of young ladies I’ve ever encountered in this city. I’m checking in here only so I can review them. The drinks were delicious, but the service and “not too much but not too little” amount of conversation and attention that my server, Bibi, gave, was exceptional.“

“For airport food this was pretty good! I got the breakfast quesadilla and it wasn’t bad at all, I just wish it also came with sour cream. What I liked is how quick & easy it was to order online and how quickly the food was ready. Also the quantity of the food was comparable to what you’d get in a restaurant outside of the airport. Also the customer service was pretty good.“

“Came to L'incontro for a casual lunch on a Saturday around 2p. Did not have a reservation and was immediately seated. I gotta say, the service was excellent! Many waiters were serving us and they were constantly checking if we needed something. They were refilling out waters all the time and it was just very polite. What was interesting is the "daily special menu", the waiter was standing their reading about the daily special for like at least 5 mins and we had to stop him from continuing. Either way, we got the bucatini cacio e pepe and it was very yummy. My husband got the veal and it was not the most photogenic dish, but tasted much better than it looked. We also got the octopus, which was soaked in balsamic, also very nice. Overall a very nice traditional Italian place.“

The food was bomb, calamari was stupendous and the chicken great. Service is on point and the ambiance is also nice.My total bill for dinner for 2 was around $100 and totally worth it.“
