Port Royal Reviews
Food okay but I enjoy the porridge the most ate here serval times tried diffrent things really didnt like it ... im from Brooklyn I still think we have the best carribean & Spanish food
I came with dietary restrictions and they gave me great recommendations on what to get when avoiding fish and meat. I got the ital stew with spinach rice which was sooo good. I didn’t get to order for the other side but I would love to come back and get fresh natural juices+ grape nut ice cream.
Good place to pick up a Quick hot lunch or dinner plate starting at $8, good portion. Large variety selection of chicken over rices. Spinach rice is my go to here. Ox tail is good bang for your buck however there's usually mostly tiny meat and bone pieces with 1 good sized chunk. Not complaining, just letting you know what to expect. For $8 it's still a very good value meal. Lots of goodies in the bakery and juice section. All sorts of home made marble and velvet cakes

Port Royal is a restaurant that offers a variety of Jamaican-inspired dishes. The menu includes options such as brown stew chicken, rice and peas, jerk wings, mac and cheese, and rasta pasta. The soups are absolutely amazing, and the fried dumplings are wonderful. The meals are extremely tasty, and the jack fish is soooooo good. The fries and chicken nuggets were delicious and unique. The place looked like a set for a 90's movie. This restaurant is the most expensive along the length and width of Sutphin Blvd.
