“Before lockdown friends and I would always try to go to a Spot location! They get full very quickly so have to prep your time wisely but it's worth it! Their rose boba tea is one of my favorites, and the coconut monkeybread dish was by far INCREDIBLE!! My hope is that they bring back their Honeydew flavor tea, also yummy and refreshing! “Juan Dulce does desserts right. The hospitality that you receive the minute you walk in is what missing in many places. He has amazing empanadas and an amazing breakfast sandwich. Oh and such a good tres leche, can’t say there something I don’t like and trust me I’ve tasted them all!“

“Crumbl Cookies is one of those dessert spots that feels more like a weekly rotation treat than a casual cookie stop. My experience was all about texture and presentation—each cookie is oversized, soft in the center, and usually served warm, which makes the flavors feel richer than expected. The rotating menu keeps things interesting; one week you might get classic chocolate chip, the next something like peanut butter mousse or lemon glaze that tastes more like a mini dessert than a cookie.
What stood out most was how consistent the quality felt across different flavors. Even the more experimental ones are well-balanced rather than overly sweet.
Tips from experience: check the weekly menu before going so you don’t miss a flavor you actually want. Go earlier in the day—popular flavors often sell out. If you’re buying multiple, share them; the portions are big and can get overwhelming after two or three. Also, reheat at home for 10–15 seconds to bring back that fresh-baked texture.“

“Came here for the lava seasame crepe roll and it did not disappoint. The crunchy flakes on top added texture to a creamy and most importantly, not to sweet, crepe roll. It’s so soft and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend coming here just for this. Will definitely be back to try every single one of these beautiful and unique treats.“

“Had a great time here! The afternoon tea set was beautiful and stunningly presented. Some of the food I liked while other bites were okay. I would love to see more pandan flavors on the afternoon tea menu.
All the staff are incredibly kind and took some photos for my mom and I for mother's day! The ambiance of the place is great, super cute and cozy.

“To be honest we are waiting for our deserts but I just wanted to say that the girl in the front (Zorhan) (I hope I spelled it right) was so sweet and attentive and answered all of our annoying questions so pleasantly. So thats 5 starts off the back. This is what most places lack. Coming from 22 years service industry I think most Owners tend to overlook this. “During my time in Kingston last year, I enjoyed a lot of the menu options such as the fruit salads (especially the ones with chocolate in it). I especially enjoyed the banana crepe, velvet crepe, chicken crepe, garlic beef crepe, and the chocolavo drink. All the options were quite unique and worth the price. It's too bad this place is closed though. I really wish there was a restaurant in my current area that is at least remotely similar to Fruit Festival.“

“I just stopped by Milk Bar with some friends and had such a great experience. I ordered the Cookies & Cream along with a pie, and everything was honestly so good, but what really stood out was the service. The workers, Rob and Noah, were incredibly kind, welcoming, and patient the entire time. They made the visit feel warm and enjoyable, and you could really tell they cared about giving customers a good experience. It honestly made the night even better. Definitely one of the nicest visits I’ve had here, and I’ll absolutely be coming back.“

“I am officially obsessed with Sweet Cats! It’s easily the cutest spot in Union Square! The atmosphere is so playful and Instagram-mable, but the real star is the menu; the bubble tea is perfectly balanced and those souffle pancakes are like eating a delicious, fluffy cloud. It’s the perfect place to satisfy a sweet tooth and take a break from the city bustle!“
“This is, to my knowledge, the first location in the US outside of Miami for this Argentine gelateria chain. It's in a quaint little area of Williamsburg, right near Domino Park, and I presume they'll do well when the weather is warm. There was a nice person working here when I stopped by, and the space inside is nice. Along with gelato, they also sell a handful of mostly Italian pastries and a selection of coffee and teas.
They offer many samples, though presumably fewer once they get big lines. I tried a handful of flavors, and my preferences, in order, were: Dulce de leche, hazelnut, passion fruit, and pistachio. I liked them all, but the dulce de leche was particularly outstanding, with pieces of chocolate caramel inside and enough salt to tone down the sweetness. In terms of more traditional flavors, the hazelnut was better than the pistachio, though both were nice. I usually prefer pistachio, but I liked the hazelnut's roasted flavor more here, with pistachio being stronger at other gelato places, including the fancier chains Gentile, Venchi, and a few other smaller places like Pamina. The passion fruit had a good balance of sour and sweet. In general, the gelato had a very nice, creamy texture, with only a slight preference for the outstanding Rivareno in Tribeca and Gentile, but both spots offer much smaller portions at similar prices.
I eventually got a medium-sized cup, which comes with two choices for $8.50. There is also a large option with 3 flavors for $9.50, and it was a very decent portion size. The medium size was also packed, and I think they should add a small (or call it a kids' size) for a bit less. You can see the previous paragraph regarding both flavors (I got the dulce and hazelnut) and gelato textures.
I slightly prefer other places for flavor, but this place strikes the right balance between portion sizes and overall quality. Would recommend.“

“After having the very first bite of one of the cookies, I immediately fell in love. The Chocolate Chip Walnut was the ultimate balance of everything you look for in a comfort treat while the Funfetti flavor caught me by surprise and is now considered the best sugar cookie I ever had in my life. There is two other flavors in the box I have yet to try and I have a feeling they won't disappoint, but after having those two said flavors, it is without a doubt that I will definitely be coming back for more sometime soon in the near future. “Born and raised in Brooklyn, it's a shame that I just came across this wonderful gem. Everything was truly delectable. “Cheese tart on the go! The tarts are a must have if you are in Chinatown! The flavors are mostly asian inspired! Way to represent the asian community on this delicious tarts! Location: It is located in Chinatown, it is a small store with a display of their cheese tarts. Just buy and go! Service: The server were nice, he gave you good recommendations. Food: All that we ordered was delicious, we finished it on one seating because everything was delicious. We ordered all the flavors, it was original cheese, original cheese with blueberry, chocolate, matcha, black sesame and ube. My favorite was UBE and ORIGINAL CHEESE WITH BLUEBERRY. The crust is perfect, its crunchy and not thick. The filling is silky and smooth, not heavy unlike other cheese tarts. Price rating: 6/10, it was not that bad for the price. All flavors are good! Will definitely come back here if I visit again Chinatown. Get the ube and original cheese with blueberry, they are the best flavors!“

“My partner showed me a plate of carnitas while at Columbus Circle and I said YES PLEASE so he ordered and we walked to this little cute spot and asked to please eat it inside since it’s freezing outside and I needed to use the restroom after eating and was pleasantly surprised the food was DELICIOUS I ate the entire plate! The meat is savory and the sauce was YUMMY. It had a little punch and tasted like a thousand island sauce but yummier. I recommend this place 100%. The female behind the register was very personable and polite we appreciated her for letting us sit in for a bit afterwards. I can’t wait to return to taste their other dishes 🙏🥰“
