The mochi itself was warm/ hot and had a very unique texture. You can taste the bumpy pricey bits but it’s not like something that you bite on and get a completely different texture when you hit a lump, overall it is still smooth just textured. 4/5

“My friend and I were craving a sweet treat and headed for T Swirl Crepe! The shop is small but had a hip feel to it! We ordered 2 Banana Nutella Crepes on the kiosk, and the cashier notified us about a promotion! Super sweet of him and we were able to get 2 scoops of ice cream! ^^

good food, great atmosphere, however one thing holds this place back from being 5 stars in my book: the service. although servers are friendly, every time i come here, no matter if it’s busy or slow, i have to flag them down so i can pay or have them just take my order. as someone who has worked in food service, dealing with multiple customers can be overwhelming, i understand. however, it’s discourages me as a customer to come back to that. on the night of white day, despite being sat, my friend and i didn’t get any menu, then once we grabbed our own, had to wait more for our order to be taken. even when it’s slow, servers aren’t on the floor, and i’ve waited longer to pay than to have my food come out. i don’t blame them for the most part- as i usually only ever see one person on the floor, even on busy weekends. i hope the owner hires enough people to make sure the team is supported enough and customers don’t feel neglected.“

“Came here on a Wednesday at 10 PM for some late night shaved ice, the place has a very cozy atmosphere for the late hours. I got the chocolate shaved ice (since everyone seems to get mango) and loved how they decorated the ice a bit to look like a cute monster. Priced at ~$20 (they will ask for a tip) the ice is admittedly pricey but the portion is big, definitely designed for sharing. Besides the long-ish wait time for my order, I was overall satisfied here“

“During my time in Kingston last year, I enjoyed a lot of the menu options such as the fruit salads (especially the ones with chocolate in it). I especially enjoyed the banana crepe, velvet crepe, chicken crepe, garlic beef crepe, and the chocolavo drink. All the options were quite unique and worth the price. It's too bad this place is closed though. I really wish there was a restaurant in my current area that is at least remotely similar to Fruit Festival.“

I ordered the Cookies & Cream along with a pie, and everything was honestly so good, but what really stood out was the service. The workers, Rob and Noah, were incredibly kind, welcoming, and patient the entire time. “After having the very first bite of one of the cookies, I immediately fell in love. The Chocolate Chip Walnut was the ultimate balance of everything you look for in a comfort treat while the Funfetti flavor caught me by surprise and is now considered the best sugar cookie I ever had in my life. There is two other flavors in the box I have yet to try and I have a feeling they won't disappoint, but after having those two said flavors, it is without a doubt that I will definitely be coming back for more sometime soon in the near future. “This is, to my knowledge, the first location in the US outside of Miami for this Argentine gelateria chain. It's in a quaint little area of Williamsburg, right near Domino Park, and I presume they'll do well when the weather is warm. There was a nice person working here when I stopped by, and the space inside is nice. Along with gelato, they also sell a handful of mostly Italian pastries and a selection of coffee and teas.

They offer many samples, though presumably fewer once they get big lines. I tried a handful of flavors, and my preferences, in order, were: Dulce de leche, hazelnut, passion fruit, and pistachio. I liked them all, but the dulce de leche was particularly outstanding, with pieces of chocolate caramel inside and enough salt to tone down the sweetness. In terms of more traditional flavors, the hazelnut was better than the pistachio, though both were nice. I usually prefer pistachio, but I liked the hazelnut's roasted flavor more here, with pistachio being stronger at other gelato places, including the fancier chains Gentile, Venchi, and a few other smaller places like Pamina. The passion fruit had a good balance of sour and sweet. In general, the gelato had a very nice, creamy texture, with only a slight preference for the outstanding Rivareno in Tribeca and Gentile, but both spots offer much smaller portions at similar prices.

I eventually got a medium-sized cup, which comes with two choices for $8.50. There is also a large option with 3 flavors for $9.50, and it was a very decent portion size. The medium size was also packed, and I think they should add a small (or call it a kids' size) for a bit less. You can see the previous paragraph regarding both flavors (I got the dulce and hazelnut) and gelato textures.

I slightly prefer other places for flavor, but this place strikes the right balance between portion sizes and overall quality. Would recommend.“

“This has been my go-to bakery and coffee shop since they have opened! It’s the perfect place to grab my morning coffee before getting on the train and I consistently get pastries and sweet treats for birthdays, holidays, or for myself. The chef has perfected her art, as everything is always well balanced, not overly sweet, and incredibly flavorful and light. My favorite type of pastry is one with buttercream and it’s been proven difficult to find buttercream pastries in general, but also delicately well made. I often buy the mini cake as it is the perfect buttercream recipe and everyone I have gotten it for has been thrilled. You cannot go wrong with this establishment. I am always impressed by the artistry, craft, and of course, flavors. The family that owns it are also truly kind and overall wonderful people who I look forward to seeing every morning on my way to work.“
