“Honestly, if you've heard any hype about this place, believe it. Not only are the staff amazing (yes, all of the staff!) not only are you greeted with warm welcomes but you're immediately greeted with the warm smell of the delicious cookies on hand. We've compared the lineup of cookies to 'other' cookie shops and they don't stand up to Chip City. Our favorites have been the Confetti and Triple Chocolate. My personal fave was the Rainbow cookie so grab when it makes an appearance. And yes, you can check on their site for the week's lineup and plan accordingly. I also want to mention that there is a rewards points system in play of you choose to share your number (they promised me it was only used for points and they don't sell your number- I haven't received any unsolicited texts since signing up). The quickest way to rack up points of buying the Box Sets (3 or 6). Enjoy!

The texture of the mochi took me back to my time in Japan. So incredibly delicious. The flavor profile of each ingredient is punchy and fresh.

The mango yuzu soda was so refreshing, although it was not that carinated, it was still so good. “Great Gelato shop in Brooklyn! The flavors were classic, and we tried a couple of flavors before landing on the Dulce de leche and the Pistachio. This was a good combination. “After having the very first bite of one of the cookies, I immediately fell in love. The Chocolate Chip Walnut was the ultimate balance of everything you look for in a comfort treat while the Funfetti flavor caught me by surprise and is now considered the best sugar cookie I ever had in my life. There is two other flavors in the box I have yet to try and I have a feeling they won't disappoint, but after having those two said flavors, it is without a doubt that I will definitely be coming back for more sometime soon in the near future. “This is our favorite cookie shop in the Upper West Side and it’s not even close. We live right around the corner and come here several times a week for warm, freshly made cookies with a crispy outside and warm and perfect inside. The employees must have been selected from the kindest people in NYC and Nadirah in particular is a ray of sunshine whenever we see her. The sweetness of the cookies is just right, not too much and not too little.

This place is better in my opinion than Levain, which is too sweet and over the top, and waaaaay better than the horrible Crumbl, that has no flavor and is just a pound of pure sugar and shortening.

Give Chip City a try! We slept on it for a couple of years and then walked in one night on a whim and we have been hooked ever since. Also if you come here often the counter staff will know you and the loyalty program is pretty generous.“
