“One of my favorite poke spots in New York City! The food is always fresh and the portion sizes are really solid. I also really enjoy the variety of sauces and flavors they offer.

I regularly go to this location for take out; but everytime I go, the staff is welcoming and the restaurant looks very clean. Special shoutout to Sasum who works on Thursdays and is always a friendly face!

“I had an event at Aloha NYC Lounge. The Playa Ball 2018! WE HAD SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!! We were treated like we've been doing business with this establishent for years, as opposed to first time clients! Mr. Bosch is extremely professional! When we were scouting out locations for our event, our first choice was an establishment in Brooklyn, NY, because it was closer and it already had that 70's look. Not much decoration, if any, would be needed. However, when we arrived to talk business, there were 3 patrons and the owner appeared to not have time to talk money. So, what he did was hand me a piece of paper with the rules and what they'd need from me, shook my hand and walked away. We jumped back in the car and headed to Aloha NYC! Walking in, you could see there was definitely an event going on. Still feeling slighted from the last place we sought out, I didn't have the confidence this would go any better, because THIS owner was obviously busy! Mr. Bosch had a rap showcase happening in the back room, and he was setting up for 2 more events that would take place that evening as well! Do you know that man took the time to talk to me about my event!?! No, it wasn't a rushed conversation! He wanted to know my vision for my event, then explained how having it at the Aloha NYC Lounge would work. That young man was spot on!!!!! It was great!!!!!! We had such a wonderful time, we've decided to have "The Playa's Ball 2019" at Aloha NYC also!!!!! The place is kept immaculate! The staff are very professional and friendly! “Ruth was so nice to me and my friends,the poke bowls here strike that rare balance between generous and fresh — the tuna practically glistens, cut into thick, clean cubes that taste like they were swimming that morning, while the salmon has a buttery richness that holds its own against the tangy ponzu drizzle. Build-your-own bowls are a joy rather than a chore: the rice is properly seasoned (not an afterthought), the mango and edamame add real brightness, and the crispy garlic and furikake toppings earn their place instead of feeling like filler. Portions are big enough to leave you satisfied without the heavy, sluggish feeling you get from a lot of quick-service lunch spots, and the prices feel fair for the quality of fish you're getting. My only gripe is the seating — a handful of cramped stools near the window — but honestly, this place is worth getting as takeout and eating somewhere with a view. It's become my go-to for a fast lunch that still feels like a treat.“

I ordered a poke bowl by phone and the delivery was really quick. The food was sooo good and fresh everything tasted amazing and they were very generous with the portions. I got the spicy tuna, spicy shrimp, and spicy salmon, and they were all delicious. If you love spicy food, you’re going to love them.

“I stopped in Epicerie Boulud WTC in August 2021. It has a great view of the Oculus. I got an almond croissant and a latte. Both were good. Unfortunately I spilled my latte all over. The staff lady was so kind. She got me another latte free of charge. Very kind. Another staff came with a mop to clean up the mess I had made. I would recommend Epicerie Boulud as a rest stop during a visit to the World Trade Center.“

“The fried chicken here is insane! What a deal as well.

The pieces are gigantic and the sides are incredible. I'd recommend getting the fried chicken with the mac salad and at least 2 sauces. The umami scallion and the sweet chipotle soy is a combo that is out of this world.

The kimchi coleslaw is also great. If you're not feeling fried chicken, the huli huli chicken is also amazing. Tender juicy and well seasoned. I wish it was a tad juicier but can't complain, it comes with this amazing rice which makes for a great meal.

I'd take this fried chicken over fluffies next door any day of the week.“
