“From the outside, one might think this a food hall of sorts. Its definitely more of a hub for food delivery services. There were countless pickup orders and, including us, 2 other tables that came to sit and eat. The atmosphere has grande ceilings with floor to ceiling windows with bar seating running along and maybe 8 tables. There are hard-copy menus and touchscreen stations to order but the choices are countless; resulting in a time consuming firt-timer experience. There's 1 kitchen that pumps out separate restaurant menu items. The food was ok. I got a Mexican-style chicken bowl that was crossed with another restaurants curry chicken; bites here and there were different. My husband got an Asian-style chicken fried rice bowl that came out cold. 2nd attempt was saturated in sesame oil and inedible. We didn't realize it at the time but Amex Gold got rid of Goldbelly, replaced by Wonder; big mistake in our opinion as Goldbelly is worldwide and Wonder is limited to big-city access for a lesser quality product.“

I loved the choices of protein and salad mixes... however- although I ordered 3 proteins, the salmon, shrimp n Ahi tuna; I wasn’t crazy about the Ahi tuna. It had no taste and the texture was spongy- my choice of the sesame dressing left the salad very wet and soggy by the time I got it home! I suggest eating there or ask for the dressing on the side!!! “I’ve been coming here for lunch about twice a week since it’s so close to my job, and it has become one of my regular go-to spots. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and they’ve gotten to the point where they recognize me when I walk in.

What I appreciate most is how warm the atmosphere feels every time I visit. Even when they’re busy, they still take a moment to chat, and I always end up exchanging a few jokes with the cashier while she’s juggling multiple orders.

“I stopped in Epicerie Boulud WTC in August 2021. It has a great view of the Oculus. I got an almond croissant and a latte. Both were good. Unfortunately I spilled my latte all over. The staff lady was so kind. She got me another latte free of charge. Very kind. Another staff came with a mop to clean up the mess I had made. I would recommend Epicerie Boulud as a rest stop during a visit to the World Trade Center.“

“I stopped by Pokeworks and ordered the Yuzu Salmon on a bed of salad greens with the lava sauce, and it was so good. The salmon was fresh, the yuzu added a bright citrus flavor, and the lava sauce brought a serious kick. Fair warning, it is actually spicy. I grew up eating a lot of spicy food, so I loved it, but it may be a bit much if you’re sensitive to heat.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and ordering was quick and easy since it’s counter service. There are a few tables if you want to dine in, and Spot Dessert Bar shares the space if you’re in the mood for dessert afterward. I’d definitely come back for another bowl.“

“I have been going to chikarashi on and off since they first opened. The ingredients are quite good and the bowl recipes unique but the price hiking is saddening. It used to be a weekly lunch to every other week. The food is worth trying at least once.“

“Amazing food and atmosphere! The portion sizes and ratios were balanced and you could taste how fresh everything was. My friends got the crabmeat with a variety of toppings and it was amazing. However, salmon has always been my favorite and I would say the salmon here is the best i’ve had so far. It was so buttery and tender. Would highly recommend checking out this spot if you have a chance to visit the area!“

The pieces are gigantic and the sides are incredible. I'd recommend getting the fried chicken with the mac salad and at least 2 sauces. The umami scallion and the sweet chipotle soy is a combo that is out of this world.

The kimchi coleslaw is also great. If you're not feeling fried chicken, the huli huli chicken is also amazing. Tender juicy and well seasoned. I wish it was a tad juicier but can't complain, it comes with this amazing rice which makes for a great meal.

I'd take this fried chicken over fluffies next door any day of the week.“

“Had a wonderful time at Lee's Hawaiian Islander! The ambiance here is so fun and relaxing—the tropical decorations, authentic Hawaiian music, and the soothing sound of the waterfalls instantly transport you.

Our drinks arrived incredibly fast and were delicious. For dinner, I ordered the Seafood Hawaii, and it was excellent! Everything was flavorful and well-prepared.

Some people even came dressed in Hawaiian shirts and leis! The owner Nancy came to our table to introduce herself and she was very very sweet, you can tell she cares a lot about her restaurant!

Definitely a great spot if you're looking for awesome food, fast service, and a unique, classic tiki vibe. Highly recommend!“

“I had an event at Aloha NYC Lounge. The Playa Ball 2018! WE HAD SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!! We were treated like we've been doing business with this establishent for years, as opposed to first time clients! Mr. Bosch is extremely professional! When we were scouting out locations for our event, our first choice was an establishment in Brooklyn, NY, because it was closer and it already had that 70's look. Not much decoration, if any, would be needed. However, when we arrived to talk business, there were 3 patrons and the owner appeared to not have time to talk money. So, what he did was hand me a piece of paper with the rules and what they'd need from me, shook my hand and walked away. We jumped back in the car and headed to Aloha NYC! Walking in, you could see there was definitely an event going on. Still feeling slighted from the last place we sought out, I didn't have the confidence this would go any better, because THIS owner was obviously busy! Mr. Bosch had a rap showcase happening in the back room, and he was setting up for 2 more events that would take place that evening as well! Do you know that man took the time to talk to me about my event!?! No, it wasn't a rushed conversation! He wanted to know my vision for my event, then explained how having it at the Aloha NYC Lounge would work. That young man was spot on!!!!! It was great!!!!!! We had such a wonderful time, we've decided to have "The Playa's Ball 2019" at Aloha NYC also!!!!! The place is kept immaculate! The staff are very professional and friendly!
