“Met up with my partner after a rehearsal she had down here (she’s the best!) anywho - tried to walk into red hook tavern without a res (like a coupla chumps!). They saidIt was gonna be a seven year wait til we could get the shrimp cocktail, so tail-between-our-legs we hobbled down Van Brunt (like adorable animated dogs from a 90’s Disney Movie) and poked our heads into TGFP (we are on an acronym basis at this point ;) - the vibes ? Immaculate. The food? Indescribable (( actually think the burger rivals RHT ?)), but I digress - unpretentious, creative menu, another gem of the neighborhood. Come here folks or I’ll come and get you !“

“Fantastic poke bowl spot right off 3rd Avenue. Swung by for a good lunch, and that's what I got. The worker was so friendly and had a great attitude.I got the build your own poke. For proteins, I went with spicy tuna and spicy salmon. Both had great taste and freshness. All the mix-ins were fresh and flavorful. The Kani salad and seaweed salad were a great touch.I recommend this to anyone who wants a great lunch. They also had ramen that I'll have to come back for.Parking: Very little parking.“

“This is the best poke I've had living in NYC for 10 years. I absolutely love the quality of the fish and the toppings. Have been eating their bowls for over a year -- at one point multiple times a week and they are very consistent. They have an excellent and unique beverage selection. The staff is extremely friendly and kind -- with the decorative flower being a nice touch.I had one occasion where GrubHub made a mistake and the owner of Poke Tiky Bar made it right (no questions asked), which is above-and-beyond in my opinion. There is limited indoor seating, but the restaurant is well decorated and in an ideal location. Plenty of outdoor seating for the warmer months. I could not recommend this place more. The best! 10/10“

“?????I can't get enough of this poke spot! Seriously, it's become my go-to whenever I'm in need of a satisfying and healthy meal. The bowls are incredibly filling, and I love how they strike that perfect balance between nutritious and delicious. But what really sets this place apart is the vibe and the staff. Sho, who works there, is an absolute gem. Always with a smile, always welcoming, and can we talk about his music taste? It's like he has a direct line to my playlist! Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the spicy tuna and spicy salmon. Normally, I'm not a huge fan of fishiness, but here, they nail it. Not too fishy at all, just the perfect amount of flavor and kick. I'm seriously craving it just thinking about it.Count me in for another visit soon! ?“

“We got the tonkotsu ramen yesterday and it was okay, not the best ramen but not terrible. Last week, i got the poke burrito and that was great! I would recommend coming here for poke instead of ramen, it is poke place lol. The service is great and the employee there is always very nice and friendly. The store is quite small but has seating and looks cleaned when I've stopped by to grab my food.“

“Very cute decor and entry than a upper level of seatings. Love the option of creating your own bowl. Pen and menu ready for you place your own order. Wasnt much service or greetings exchanged either but just got some grins. Service point vise definitely needs improvements. We created our own bowls. Love and enjoyed every part of it. All fresh ingredients. Tuna and salmon so fresh. Portion wasn't as big as my 8 yr old daughter could finish her bowl and still not full. We also ordered 2 light bulb drinks. The pina colda was really good. I always ask for less sweet and they made it. Got pineapple bits in it. The passion fruit came with jelly. Was too sweet even requested to make it less sweet. Overall we enjoy our lunch. We pay for fresh ingredients and good quality food and received it. The poke bowls were delish with compliment of their sauces. We got to try them. Definitly go back if we are around the area. Again services can improve.“

“My husband and I were in the mood for something different, so we decided to check out Sweet Talk. We absolutely fell in love with the place! The decor inside was beautiful and really easy on the eyes, and the overall ambiance was fantastic. We were there for the live music featuring The Buff Bunnies, and they totally rocked our evening. The food was fresh and delicious, with some cool twists on classics like tacos and elote off the cob. And let me tell you, the dessert was a delight! Definitely leave some space for that. Despite being pretty busy, the service was still on point. We're already planning to come back, especially for another dose of live music on a Monday! The only downside? Parking is a bit of a difficult around there, so next time, we're ditching the car and taking our bikes instead! Cheers!“

“Ordered the Spicy Miso and the Spicy Pork Dish. Both were good but the pork dish was my fave. Pork was grill to perfection, if perfection existed ? And it was so flavorful. Came with a side of macaroni salad and kimchi. I’m not a fan of mac salad but this was good. And kimchi is better than what I’ve had lately in LA.Ramen tasted good but wasn’t anything special. Better than it tasting “eh” ?Service was………. Lacking, to say the least. Thank goodness the food was delish ?“
