Vert Frais Reviews
Omurice is the best I’ve had in New York City, would be back here very soon! Make sure to get it with the mini hamburger patty it is worth it. Servers are super friendly and the vibes are great in the restaurant. Definitely recommend!
The food is amazing here !
May 2026 - We came back for Mont Blanc soufflé pancake and Matcha soufflé pancake, and both of them were great. The affogato and matcha latte were also good. We enjoyed as much as last time.

Nov 2025 - This restaurant is beautiful. We enjoyed the Mont Blanc soufflé pancake, and the matcha was also pretty good. The interior decoration was nice. The service was good. They only offered soufflé pancake before 4pm. Overall, we enjoyed our afternoon tea here.

Vert Frais features a diverse menu, including Hamburg steak with fries, shio ramen, and Pork Katsu. The restaurant’s interior is bright, floral, and nicely decorated, creating a pleasant atmosphere that feels tidy and a step above casual. Customers have praised the crème brûlée pancake with orange zest, which disappears quickly. This popular brunch spot is known for its cafe-like ambiance and well-packaged takeout options. Recent visitors enjoy authentic Japanese fare, such as Omurice, Vegan Ramen, and Matcha Soufflé Pancake, served with precision in a clean setting. The Cha-Shu pork in the ramen is noted for its excellent cuts and melt-in-your-mouth texture. The service has improved significantly, with friendly and attentive staff who show genuine interest in guests' experiences. The restaurant offers a unique environment with a small area for sale items and a table designated for one person, making it suitable for gatherings or solo visits. Some suggestions for improvement include offering promotions and providing guests with a cup to stir in sugar, as well as mentioning how to stir the drink to ensure the full flavor. While prices may be on the higher side, the aesthetics of both the food and the café make it worth a visit. Overall, Vert Frais remains a charming spot for lunch and brunch, appreciated for its well-prepared meals and inviting atmosphere.
